Region 3 Wednesday Night

Strong showing at MMI for sure. Will be interesting to see how they stack up at Duncanville this weekend with another 3 weeks under everyone's belt. D will have multiple 6AC bands so will give them good idea going into Area of where they stand I think!

@Tubalord11 @Dallas Hobbs Do either of you know for sure how military bands count towards number of bands that qualify for area.....and thus the allotment to state. In this situation, we are trying to determine if Longview's 1 at Region contest....though they wouldn't march at Area still counts as an area band. 6A C needs 20 bands to qualify for Area to gain a 4th state spot. Not much wiggle room.... Let's go ALL bands on Wednesday! haha

Correct me if wrong…Longview is a military band. Their “1” counts towards band number at area but they won’t actually march at area. Is that correct?

Just Tyler as of now, as they are the only band with Region already. 😂

Thanks for recap! That would be amazing for them to make finals! I think when Area C initially lost the big dogs to Area J, they thought C would get easier. Ultimately, what it means is 4 more AMAZING bands will get a shot at state. The next 2 weeks will be incredible

Great job! That stadium sure doesn’t seem conducive to watching bands though and heard they were not letting people into the upper deck.

Region 21 had contest today. Only 2, 6A bands that can advance to this contest, or actually, since Longview is military, think just Tyler. Anyone know if they got their 1?

I’m offended. I could at least be 1A Grand Champion poster with the ability to post in exhibition tonight, but after being slided, guess I will go home.

Always prefer being up at these contest. That seems weird.
