Whoops. How does that happen?

Not even sure those two are “safe”. They seem to get the nod right now but I think come Nov 2, there are 6-8 bands that can make a claim to state with 2 solid marches. This means 4 great bands are going to stay home. I’m not sure anyone is “safe” based on first couple weekends of October

Not sure how they will place overall but being UIL 6a, I’d be surprised if Rockwall is BOA AAA. 🤷

When my kids have finished their band era, I think it would be neat to go to different contest across the state and just watch contest all day and make predictions 😂

I have no idea myself but wonder if dropping out had to do with the cost of travel right now. 🤷

A former Forney member mentioned last week before BOA Bedford that they had pulled out. What was the misunderstanding at BOA B though?

Any word on why Forney is no longer attending? Was curious to see how they stacked up.

I think you have 6-8 bands that could make an argument with 2 solids runs on 11/2.

And Rockwall beat Walnut Grove in McKinney in Prelims…. Just saying it goes both ways. I think both bands could be in that 12-16 window with such a stacked comp. 🤷‍♂️

Many of these bands have not finished their shows. What they look like now isn’t what they will look like in November.

True. 😂 What is general effect anyway. 😂 But honestly, most bands that go to BOA are great so really can’t be surprised with any Finals combination! 6C should be really fun!

Great job by Pearce this weekend. But it’s not a sprint to 11/2 but a marathon. This weekends results gives us talking points but let’s see how things evolve over Bandtober!

FYI- I know. But those of us raised in the 80’s know the Real Walnut Grove is from Little House on the Prairie tv show They lived in Walnut Grove Minnesota! My apologies for bringing humor to the internet! FYI- there is no Rock wall in Rockwall, myth busters investigated 😂
