Plano East, enjoyed more tonight. Still feel like it got really busy when the gems came out and music became soft. Unique concept though.

Independence HS Nothing flashy but solid performance. However, those black silhouettes gave off a creepy City of Angels vibe.

Rock Hill guard was better during finals than prelims. Something just isn’t hitting. Can’t put finger on it. Also think they probably have a little bit to finish. Its solid, its just not wow solid yet

Did anyone see JJP in prelims? I thought they would be in 2nd half of final bands. They have to be bummed after doing really well here last year. North Forney and Heath are putting Area C on notice!

No, pretty sure Heath is top half. The guy I corrected had Rock Hill twice. The RockHill he had in top half should have been Heath

I could be wrong, but don’t think they stayed for prelim award announcements. Several schools didn’t. So “wonder” if possible made top 12 but did not stay for finals maybe?

Emerson was solid. Picked up steam as show progressed. plano east, loved the concept. Not sure musically it is there with the top tiers yet but fun and creative.

Great job Jackets. Recovered from a solo instrument issue in first opening but man they jam! That sax solo is something else.

Wylie brings energy for sure. Drumline was great. Wish I could hear more music but color guard family in my ear whooped and yelled every time something went up and down. Can’t wait to see tonight. The radio broadcast was an interesting concept.
