We are playing Molly on the Shore. Pasadena Memorial isn't marching BOA this year. =( we would have to march at 7AM, and that would be pointless: no audience except for parents, and we'd have to get to school at like 4AM. that afternoon, we're marching the Galena Park contest. instead, we're gonna go to some Woodlands marching contest Anyone know what this is??

was it just me or was the Math II really easy? the History was okay, but long. then i took physics last, which probably wasn't such a good idea. the physics was kinda strange and new to me. i'm really really used to the LTF / AP physics styles

absolutely. we have the leader - director, chosen one - DM, official cult book - coral / warm-up book. dunno bout you guys, but here at memorial, the directors hold a circle meeting in the middle of the practice field at least once a week. rain always circles the field. the sun is always out. many times, the football field would have rain, but the marching field would be bone dry. not only are we a cult..... i mean club...... but we are a magic club

yup. we don't go as far as checking the receipts, but you gotta look good -
we had parade practice today, and my legs felt like they were being burnt with acid. nothin; like marching to get huge calves. of course, there were the people who walked - losers and the juniors of next year are very scary. i know we've had off from marching for many months, but come on. it's not that hard to march 120 for a parade... next week starts mini-camp, where the class of 08 takes over, and we start teaching the 8th graders some fundamentals to ease them into marching band.

i'm the first person at Memorial to get the show music (the opener anyway) looks pretty interesting, clarinets start at measure 17, guns a'blazin' it's slated to be 3 minutes long, but i'm afraid that the clarinet sound won't be heard. everything is on the staff..... maybe i'll take it up two octaves.... anyone else have music yet?

we have two crew captains that are in charge of loading stuff before and after games and contests. we don;t keep track of uniforms, as we get them checked out to us at the beginning of the year and we return them at the end of marching season.
