OMG, i didn't know any of the bands, so I picked a random school (colony) for first, carrol for 2nd, and then alpha order after that..... (for the predictions)

yeah, when we finished the drill, I called a senior meeting regarding our last "last set". class of 08!!! yeah!

oh yeah? do you guys have someone running through it? " lmao! that's pretty cool. I can just imagine... "Band! - what is the count sequence?" "6!" "6!" "6!" " 6! the "Apocalypse" is the 4th set of 6.

near the end of the closer, we have a set of chaos drill (count sequence 6,6,6) followed by the set named (by our drill writer) "Apocalypse" (6 counts)

"Clear Brook is starting off strong by performing a show entitled, "RePercussion" featuring John Mackey's "Turbine"" the all-state (second band i think) played that last year. John Mackey was there and his explanation went something like "this song takes you through my experience of flight. before and after the drugs start kicking in." haha

do you guys have interesting sets that have been named? we have a set near the end of the closer called the "Death Star" = if a judge unknowingly stands right where it forms, he's dead.

dang. our school is so nice. we have so much school spirit and patriotism. when we played against Westbury at Butler Stadium, HISD, the security guards commented to our directors and principals how nice our crowd was. Our fans always applaud for both bands and never boo (except for the occasional BS call by a blind ref) i guess we're lucky. as for the parking lot practice thing, we've had cars towed and booted before, keeps people away.

we're finished. today, at practice, we finished setting our last, last set....ever. it's a weird feeling. we're almost done. we will soon leave our ivory tower.

nice. our school's fist ever "show" as a band (they were only an exhibition group at this time) was also Phantom. they didn't have uniforms even, so they wore black shirts, slacks, and they wore a mask in lieu of a hat. what exactly does "RH" of RHHS stand for?

clarinets beat the saxes and flutes....and oboes and bassoons and all the brass and percussion.

dang, we would have had to march that first time slot if we were to march BOA Houston. i'll see if i can go that day to watch.

ours opened in '03. varsity sports and band started in '04, when we only had freshmen, soph, and juniors.

absolutely. this will be the first time we've finished the drill before the week of the first contest (we do GPISD pre-uil festival). in years past, we always finished the drill a few days before that first contest. two years ago, with the hurricane rita, we finished the drill the friday before UIL. this will be my last, first contest of the year.

that sucks. my freshman year, the first year our band went to contest as a varsity group (2nd year the school was in existence), we missed making area finals by i believe 0.2 pts behind DP.

My Predictions so far (however, it's too early to tell) Brazoswood HS - Clute, TX Clements HS - Sugar Land, TX Conroe HS - Conroe, TX Friendswood HS - Friendswood, TX Hendrickson HS - Pflugerville, TX Pasadena Memorial HS - Pasadena, TX Spring HS - Spring, TX The Woodlands College Park HS - The Woodlands, TX i don't know any of those other schools.

the game is friday, the dance is saturday of SHSU..... all of the band will miss their homecoming.

Pasadena Memorial HS (2-0-1) game 3, Memorial beat Baytown Sterling, 41-7. with 30 seconds left and the ball on the Baytown 1 yard line, we graciously took a few knees to end the game.

He went to the beach a lot this summer and Fred Thompson has gotten a major tan. He has also changed his name to Barrack Obama. Do not be fooled, the light-colored person who calls himself Fred Thompson is an imposter. Thompson supporters, be reminded to vote Obama.
