  1. Congratulations to Houston bands!!! Most I’ve seen since….? Who has stats? In 2021, I believe only TWHS; 2022, THWHS AND Pearland? or was Cy-Fair in there too?
  2. I can’t love this show anymore. It’s just stunning. It’s been great to see their progression in the Texas band world.
  3. I love Flower Mound’s show! I also love that they have gone from the most bells and whistles and props back to just great music and marching!!❤️❤️
  4. Sorry if this has already been asked and answered but I just signed up for NFHS on my phone. Logged in and cast it to my TV. It kicked me out twice during one show, saying I was streaming on multiple platforms or something like that. The NFHS bot could not help and said there are no humans available to help😆
  5. Also reminded me of a what if BD married BC..but love them both so obviously loved it! Go TW!
  6. Congratulations Bridgeland!!! I don’t consider it shocking at all but who is the show designer for Bridgeland?!!! Last year was incredible and this year even more so but with impeccable execution!
  7. In a world of seeming instant outrage, atrocities and negativity, let’s keep our band world positive. That’s one of the best things about band and music in general. We can support our favorite band without trashing other bands.
  8. I think Indianapolis‘s most iconic restaurants are Saint Elmo‘s and Harry and Izzo‘s. They are known for their super spicy shrimp cocktails sauce. They are steak restaurants but they have a good burgers and I believe pizzas too. For kids, the Sugar Factory is fun. They have rainbow sliders and very expensive large alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks filled with candy and dry ice. It’s hard to beat the Yard House as well or Weber Grill. Shapiro’s is a great deli. The zoo is near Lucas oil and actually very nice. Not sure what the weather will be in November, but you can rent paddle boats up and down the canal. Very walkable city and Monument Circle is something to check out for sure as well as local museums. Have a great trip!
  9. Bridgeland was my favorite (on my phone) at BOA Katy. Just stunning visually!
  10. Agree! Gunning for Ott.
  11. I’ve seen them. Insanely good for June
  12. This sounds like an amazing show. BD did Tank last year in DCI. Can’t wait to see this one come together
  13. So excited for this summer. SCV show is “Finding Nirvana”…..chaos to enlightenment but maybe some grunge band in between🤷‍♀️ what other show themes have been revealed? https://www.instagram.com/p/Cdq4xoABbKQ/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
  14. Congratulations to Pearland. So close to Finals which I’m sure is heartbreaking but a 13th placement is something to be proud of. SFA proved they belonged at State. Ironically they were in another 3 way tie—this time for 20th (but were on the shorthand this time) Clear Brook 28th Clements 31st All truly amazing shows!!
  15. Not impressed by Box5tv at all. It went down several times and had no sound for some of the final performances. No replays either:( what happened to FloMarching? I bought a year subscription during DCI thinking BOA would be using them again.
  16. SFA has another beautiful show, reminiscent of the one in 2019. I’ve heard they have taken a major hit from COVID in numbers, ability to practice, mostly virtual until this year and more than half of the band are freshman and sophomores who have never marched. Hope they are able to bring it together because it will be stunning
  17. I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned the potentially obvious but I think COVID will still have a huge impact this year. There were school districts who had nearly a normal show and season last year but there were also other districts that were almost completely shut down last year—no show, no practice, loss of many current and potential students. 18-19 months of no band is hard to overcome in a few months…who practiced, performed, competed last year besides Katy and The Woodlands?
