Prosper was just beautiful! When I first saw them on the HEB contest livestream, I had faith they would make finals here. Every time I see Hendrickson they just have the best energy. You can see how much they believe in their band and their show. Henny train!!! This is the second year in a row that Southlake Carroll has peaked at the last possible second to secure one final performance. From 13th at DFW and state alternate to top 12 here! Amazing showing in finals for Team Texas!!!

I didn’t get to see any of Johnson’s performances here but I’m still shocked they didn’t make it.

Are Tarpon’s designers okay?

Still hard for me to imagine Prosper not being in finals after that. I’ve really enjoyed their show all season long.

Mustang is always so fun, but I feel like this year’s show doesn’t fully capture that same energy. There’s something strangely ominous about it, idk. They sounded great though.

Carmel might be my pick to win. I love their music so much and the guard is just totally nailing it. I think they have a better music run in them though.

Brownsburg’s colorguard was great.

Southlake Carroll was so much better in semis than they were in prelims!

Love Fishers! Such an interesting musical selection. They always do something cool with the props and the guard is spectacular. Musical performance could be a bit stronger but it sounds really challenging. Would be very surprised if they don’t make finals.

Broken Arrow was amazing as always. I’m just not connecting with the show as much as I would like.

Prosper was excellent. I don’t see them out of finals here.

Carmel could win if they keep performing like that. Seems like Brownsburg bit off too much this year. Or maybe I’ve just been spoiled by the level of execution the top Texas bands get to at the end of the season.

Looks like the top 14 was actually quite definitive after prelims. The top 14 all scored over a 90 in prelims! I thought Westlake would be at least a few places higher. Keller top 4 in their panel over Marcus, wow! Incredible showing for all the Keller schools actually.

Love that after Vista’s maybe disappointing season last year they went and challenged themselves even more. That opening hit! Great dynamic contrast from the brass. I feel like they’ve created a really unique identity for themselves.

I’m not an expert on anything before like the mid 2010s, but Reagan had that old school vibe. Visual program is amazing as always.

Are those fireworks? Very distracting. Sorry Vista.
