Correct me someone if I’m wrong someone, but I think they used to do something like this and would only announce those going to state. Definitely don’t think this could hurt, but I think it makes it more exciting for the kids, especially if they jump up in finals to a state spot, but I do get your point.

I wish I could go back in time to witness what that again, NO Words anyways, both groups were amazing! I feel like Flomo should be in the 80s, don’t see why they aren’t, loved that show and they’re really good. TW’s just showed the audience they’re gonna go win the gold for Tx, and I think they will. If you think they’re good online, god in person was just something else

This Pearland show has my heart. That soloists, UNREAL!!! They are fully exposing themselves and fully executing!! It’s just such a sweet show that they make so much deeper, tons of emotions from the performers, was having to hold back tears, simply magical Emerson and Little Elm, I have no words. I see why Emerson had to get promoted bc they’re just on a different level. The mouth covering is such a small yet such effective detail. Little Elm, my jaw was on the floor. If they’re going to Dayton, they are going to do SO well, them and Emerson. Just SO clean, so talented, both groups just killed it, speechless

Cy-Fair just blew it out of the water!!! They performed with such expression, and the show gives ton to offer! The mixed rifle-flag work was amazing, plenty of ripple tosses and they used the see through props so well, just so so talented!!! WOW Bowie!!! Such a fast paste show and they are executing so so well! That male soloists are as ridiculous, so much GE, mind was blown!!

Really loved TC!! First time seeing them this season and was really impressed!! The string props he’ll bring out the theme a ton, amazing rifle work, and I love the color choices, great showing! Marcus was just wonderful. I do see why they aren’t scoring as well, not a drop in talent but I think the design does hold them back a little, think they could handle a little hard of a show they still killed it today!! Love the props, some really nice rifle work and I loved the uniforms, awesome job!!

Wonderful performance from Coppell! It’s definitely a slight step down from last season in terms of difficulty, but they are still super talented! Plenty of equipment variety, amazing solos and the flag work at the end was amazing! Great run from Friendswood!! Their soloist were top tier, really loved the theme and they had some great rifle work, amazing job!!

Solid performance from Round Rock to get SO kicked off!! A couple minor drops, but plenty of great moments throughout. The moment of silence was super effective. If you’re telling me that that Choctaw run was 8th yesterday, I’m not ready for what’s next because they killed it!!! So many solo/duet moments they nailed, tons of GE and the choreo was so together, wow!!

Katy and Melissa were just unreal. Don’t have many words other then I was speechless after both. Katy’s performance was just so majestic, so much emotion and power in the performers. Mellisa as well, and that soloists, SO GOOD!! Talent is unreal, they are going to do so well in Dayton!!

Yeah i don’t envy these judges one bit bc Garland just brought another stellar performance!!! Such a delicate show and they are performing so beautifully. The flag were so beautiful against the uniforms and tarp, great color selections, such an insanely talented group, wow! FOSTER!!! I mean wow wow wow, such an intense and fun show but they were just flawless! Tons of GE, loved the choreo in the start and how they stage everyone, just so so clean!!

Prosper having one of their best seasons, And I see why!!! I think this style of show fits them better compared to last seasons (which I absolutely loved), and they are performing the heck of it!! Soloist we’re on fire, the mixed weapon work was so cool, just so so clean. Well if you couldn’t tell we were getting close to the top, Union JUST BROUGHT IT!!!! Didn’t see them yesterday but OMG that was insane!! It was funny bc as soon as i was thinking it’s a lot of Saber they brought out flags and rifles lol. Yeah imo the top is looking like it could go many ways, so many top notch runs, but yeah Union just killed it, WOW!!

Wylie had me speechless. The amount of GE those performers produced was unreal. It’s basically them showing off how good they are while telling a story. Talent is insane, I see why their season has been going so good. Loved Yukon!! The sign with the different comps they’ve been/are going to was so cute, and they also performed so well. Again just tons of GE, soloists were so good, beautiful show. Amazing job both!

Just such a heartwarming show from Azle! Seeing it in person really shows you they haven’t steeped down at all. There’s just so much talent in this group, and it was showing. Just so much emotion from the performers, and some really challenging equipment work, just wow. Mrs Garcia is working wonders at Lovejoy because this is the best their winterguard has been ever!! Such a beautiful show with so much talent, such a smooth flow and tons of equipment variety, just so happy for them. Amazing job to both!!

I’m so happy I was right about Joshua yesterday bc that show was so freaking cool!! They did such a wonderful job of displaying the main character, plenty of solo/duet moments, loved the ending flag work, just so much fun. Such a beautiful run from Aledo!! The costumes went really well with the theme, plenty of amazing soloist moments, just super strong all around. Great job both!!

Really strong performance from The Colony!! Really loved how they slowly brought it more soloists, the staging was super smart and they were really clean, really loved this one! Liberty was much improved this morning!! Kinda what I’m noticing all around, especially the farther we’re getting in. Just tons to offer from this one, and they were very clean. Great job both!!

A bit of a rough run from Celina. Just nervous me think, some really nice moments, loved how they brought performers in and out of the spotlight, just a little dirty but still really solid! Choctaw with an amazing performance! Kinda surprised they placed this low, loved the theme, tons of expression from the performers. Soloist we’re on it, especially the man with the flag, really impressed. Great job to both!

Really great work from Wakeland to get us started!! I really enjoyed the variety of equipment, a couple minor drops but a really strong run this morning! Solid improvement from Hebron this morning! I really like how the flags look against the uniforms, some nice solo moments, great job both!

Also this gym is insane, definitely a perfect place to host this type of event

We’re here live at Coppell High School for finals, feels like a complete different experience just being here in person, and il it’d only going to get crazier as the day goes on. Good luck to everyone, I’m looking forward to some amazing performances!! Will ofc do my best to do comments as well

Well, that’s all for today. Sorry everyone I couldn’t be in person but I’m feeling better and will 100% be there tomorrow. I’d say score wise from what I saw I agree with SA, tomorrow will be super fun!!
