Madison high school just got done marching in a parade at Magic Kingdom in WDW. Did anyone get to see? Also, are there any other bands from Texas here besides Douglas Macarthur?

In the past decade or so, what are some shows/ bands that you liked it thought deserved better placements? This is really geared towards bands that don't get mentioned very often so don't talk about finalists here please.

Our directors don't tell us anything until much later in the school year but we may, and I have heard we might be going to two BOAs again next year but that is just rumor so don't take it as true. And thank you by the way.

James Madison (SA) goes every year now so it's not official, but you could probably count us in.

What? For dipping? Nah you have to eat the food and drink at the same time in order for it it taste right. That's how it works.

Is there anyone here at the tmea convention? I just watched the 5a symphonic band and they were amazing, and wait to see the 6a symphonic band.

I hope at least one big named band is but is just doing a really good job at keeping it secret. For example, Flowermound's schedule can't be accessed unless you have an account in the district.

Everyone who is not going to the Dallas WGI contest should come down to the TECA event down here at Madison High School! There are 60 programs performing, and you will get to see some really great ones such as Claudia Taylor Johnson, Steel, and our very own Madison varsity and jv guards! It will be a lot of fun and I hope you come down!

They could have the section leaders hold regular "sectionals".

I think that means that the bands will start earlier with the fundamentals and with longer/more rehearsals before August first to make it easier for the band to work/clean their show when they are able to start putting the drill to the field. Also, if most of the school districts opt to make this change then I think the law will be adjusted to compensate.

If you think about it, that is the reason you see bands explode into discussions. They push past what they can do and work to make the impossible not impossible.
