wow crazy close finish in the end, would have been even crazier if one judge didn't give leander an 8th in music. bit of a head scratcher there but its UIL so when isn't there one judge with an outlying score. all in all amazing competition and happy to see another LISD sweep. incredible district for music education.

as far as the recording goes for leander, I heard no major timing issues. a small one in the sax feature but none in the rest of the show.

Why do some bands appear unnamed on the schedule? Like when it just says AREA E BAND.

They did great! I got to see them 3 times this year, tmc and boa sa and I enjoyed the show. They were definitely in the running for a finals spot. Hopefully they will make it in soon. As far as videos sadly boa won't be posting any of anyone this season due to a big copyright mess :/

First time seeing Hebron at all and i was very very impressed some amazing moments and much cleaner and better designed visually than I've seen from them thus far. My favorite of the day

I wasn't adding fuel to the fire for the sake of it, just sharing new (albeit) frustrating information. I'm sure they will make the most of this situation and I'm very proud of them for it.

So Leander has been moved to 1:30 due to traffic issues in the lot. That gives a 15 minute break in between the last block and them. Highly doubt that means they will judge the performance though, because that would incredibly difficult and absurd. Obvious sarcasm here

Well vista still gets to compete so there is that but I'd imagine Leander and dripping springs are equally angry. Also there is the fact that Leander was a heavily favored medalist, so they aren't to happy about not getting to prove those predictions

Why exactly can't they judge them though? I just can't see any logical reason behind allowing them to perform but not judging. I just can't see where the overwhelming hassle would be there. :/

no I really don't think they have been working hard, they made no effort to shorten breaks or lunches or trade full retreat for a dm only retreat to save time. They have done nothing for me to give them any credit in this situation at all. Phone calls are great and all but when they yield no results and they sit back unwilling to take less than an hour lunch break, they have lost my respect completely

also they could cancel full retreat in favor of a much quicker dm only retreat that would save nearly a full hour and it would be well worth the cost

on a lighter note of the performances currently happening, it is a good thing I was wearing 2 pairs of socks cause Reagan just knocked the first pair clean off. WOW great show from them and the new ending is a very nice cherry on top of the amazing program they have made this year.

I don't see why a night block wouldn't be feasible. Pre lims are scheduled to end at 6:45 tonight which leaves plenty of time to re schedule bands for after that. Rain wont be a huge problem with indoor warm ups its just travel conditions. I highly doubt they will cancel finals for this event
