  2. I’d probably guess they’re gonna go to Wylie, closer and probably won’t be as insane as a lineup as here so they’d have a better shot at finals. Will probably be off the list next update if I had to guess, though either one is a good option for them

  3. That's how it was for 5A Area F (Pre-2017) and then 5A Area E in 2017.

  4. from what I remember, at least in 4A area b, they announced the bands advancing to state only, in alphabetical order, until 2018 where they switched to announcing the full results. I know most areas, through 2014 at least, would announce the state bands in random order to not give away the results.

  5. Dville had 4 trumpet all staters this year and I don’t think any of them were seniors! This next year will probably be their strongest high brass section ever. Really hope their show takes advantage of this and does more cool stuff like what they did with their screamer last year.

  6. Ummm when have they dominated this area 😭 Just joking but I’m excited to see if they move up at all, though i expect Wakeland and LS to be fighting for 1 and 2 for a fat minute

  7. The music judging at the contest last year was wacky! Very inconsistent! arguably the visual judges were too. The 1-7 split for N Mesquite was bizarre.

  8. I really hope Kaufman retains their momentum and makes it, ngl didn’t agree with the results from this one last season

  9. Would love to see Kaufman advance this year! I feel that both them and West Mesquite are coming into this season with a vengeance
