And as a sax player myself, I would like to personally thank the sax quartet for delivering the best sound I’ve ever heard out of a 4A saxophone quartet.

Also I heard an altissimo A??  If so DAAANNNGGGG it was clean!  Outstanding!

China Spring HS-

HELLO CHINA SPRING! That Opener is SO GOOD! Great power and ensemble sound! The design of the props and uniforms are so nice! The French Horn solo was played beautifully and the ballad overall sounded really nice! Also I'm guessing its because of mic placement, but the Bari-Sax players sounded good! Overall, Congratulations to your 2023 4A State Finalist, China Spring HS!!!

Absolutely amazing runs from everyone tonight! I've got Anna, Celina, Panther Creek, China Spring and Sulpher Springs as my top five in that order. But I'm not 100 percent confident in that. Will be a great grand finale coming up!

LOVE this show form China Springs!! Festive Overture is one of my favorites in marching band, and they played it so well! I do think they could possibly move up, just don't know over who! It's gonna really gonna be up to who had the better visual run/judge's preferences because the top half all had great musical runs, will be really close!

I can confirm it’s the mic placement.  Had to frantically text the lead bari player after prelims like DONT PLAY THAT LOUD AAAHHH!

Oooh I’m going to have to have a look at these recaps because I swear panther creek had the most flawless music run I’ve ever heard from a 4A band.

Area B went 1st, 2nd, 3rd in the state.  Canton placed 4th in that area and should have been in finals. Judges got this one wrong.

Way too early prediction for next year: Panther Creek will win the 4A title in 2024. Super impressive performances from them.
