Euphonipwn
I believe a band did a cellphone themed show last year too. My director got a recording of their sound effects (I suppose from the director...who knows haha) and it was pretty awesome. Unfortunatley, I can't remember which high school did that last year... Nothing like before, they are going a different route this year. Different style of music, different arranger (actually being arranged by past band drector, Mike Davis. I cant wait for the drill either. So...watch out for Coppell this year!! Might have something up their sleeve...

Montoya
I refuse to give any details. See you at BOA . This "refusal to give any details" (the title is not a detail?), reminds me of The Simpsons' episode entitled: Sideshow Bob's Last Gleaming. By the way, I'm aware of the irony of appearing on TV in order to decry it. So don't bother pointing that out.

jmj
The Austin American-Statesman is doing a Battle of The Bands contest this year and each week will have videos from 2 bands (footage captured at the football game) and a vote for the best band. This week is Bowie and Pflugerville. According to this, Bowie's show is called The Revolutionary and is the music of Tchaikovsky and I definitely heard a big portion of Romeo and Juliet. It doesn't say what Pflugerville's show is called. Anyway, you can watch them both at the below link. I think Bowie sounds pretty fantastic already - some beautiful balanced hits in the brass and check out that glorious woodwind run at around 2:02 in the video. Pflugerville also sounding nice and lots of drill on the field for sooo early in the season. http://www.statesman.com/sports/highschool/battleofthebands/
