I would never use chatGPT for anything.

Most of all though because of the niche nature of marching band rules and regulation it probably struggles to scrape the internet for accurate interpretations of them. The best solution here is if you have a question we are blessed to have an active forum of users who will answer you with love, patience and understanding.

This is the hardest area in Texas. Someone big is going to get left out and to me it’s between dripping or round rock. Moe and Gene has good shot at winning and going to state finals to be honest, after Tmc.

This area is just stupidly hard.  You could take the top 3 bands that do NOT advance and put them in other areas and at least one of them would advance to state.

Weather in Round Rock is not looking good for a marching festival.  70% chance every hour in the morning and afternoon.  I'd be shocked if they have a finals this weekend.

And the same goes for Area H 6A since it will be held just a few miles away from Area D contest.

Couple of slips here and there from the field being wet, but other than that, Cedar Ridge had a KILLER run to open this contest.

I really enjoyed Westwoods show. Very entertaining and they sounded great! I loved the Red Riding Hood theme.

Watched Reagan and M&G Johnson on the livestream just now. Can't make any judgements about the music performance of either band (since the audio is not great and I can only hear out of one side of my headphones, lol), but M&G Johnson seemed visually cleaner than Reagan. However, I would not be surprised if these groups tied or one edges out the other.

I actually had to miss Cedar Ridge this morning because I had a conflicting event during their performance, so IDK how they compare to Reagan and M&G Johnson as of now. 🙁

Same! I think that M&G was cleaner than Reagan, but I really liked Reagan’s show. Both had good visuals.

Congratulations to Cedar Ridge, Dripping Springs, RR, MGJ and CTJ on making state!!! So happy that MGJ is going, looks like Perc really is their weak spot, hoping it was just a rough run for brass but winning WWs and 2nd in both visual!! This is exactly the type of results and recaps I’d expect with the new changes, but congrats to all!

It would be interesting to see the raw scores (out of 1000) in each category. This Area is deep and think 6 thru 10 probably would advance to state in less competitive areas.

That scoring is crazy. Shows you just how competitive this area is.  M&G getting first in woodwinds and 10th in percussion! Super tight.
