When do high school predictions open?

Aww, thank you so much for the kind words! That really means a lot. Not many people know this, but running the Predictions game brings a bit of light stress my way. I try to be a perfectionist, and that’s not always easy when some contests don’t finalize their details until the last minute. lol

I’ve said it before.. this game may seem like a small part of the site, but people keep coming back year after year. It might not be the most visible feature, but it’s quietly helping build something special, a community that shares a deep love for Texas Bands and the marching arts. And that is why, since 2022, that I've kept returning year after year as the TXBands Predictions Administrator, because of the love I have for this community and for the Texas Marching Band scene that is unraveling all around us each and every year.

I do want to point out that there was a late addition to the lineup of contests for the 27th. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you care about getting points to your overall score, submit your predictions for the Capital City Marching Festival. Submissions are to be accepted until 2:00am CST on the day of the event!

Just wondering, when will BOA South Houston be out?

Hey everyone! Hope you all are enjoying the crazy season we are having! Definitely lots of jaw dropping and head turning moments, but we are heading into the PEAK of Marching Season!!!

With that being said, we have a large number of competitions that are still needing results. (Trust me, for most of these, I have looked and looked and just cannot find the results)

If any of you have the FULL results for any of the following contests, please either DM me or reply to this post I am making. 

September 20th

• Seguin Marching Festival (Placements 1st - 10th + percussion & auxiliary)

You receive points for guessing correctly on the dot and around. Example: If you predicted Wylie East for 6th, you would get .75 points for having them 1 spot where they actually placed. 

You can get a lot of points for just having the groups near where they placed.

I am not. I spent a few days, actually about a week after Nationals searching all over social media for results to 6 contests that never updated their websites or just don't post results. I finally just pulled the plug and officially ended the game afterwards. I think starting next year, I'm going to require those who submit competitions to also provide results because some those independent contests are pretty tight on releasing results online. Thank you though.

I will be doing my annual Awards Ceremony though soon so be on the lookout for that!

I know this is not the right page to put this but just wanted to say other people looking for the results page that is preformence time and not placement so then theirs me just “patiently” waiting for hornrank to update the results page so I can look at placement and not pick out each identical line just to see I messed up on one line and had to go all the way back

You’ll have to keep waiting. We at HornRank are still working on getting all of the sign in information from Jeremiah (the creator of HornRank) so that we can access the full website and make updates and changes.
