Not sure but I suspect finals are in reverse order.

I think they draw randomly for finals

Area finals are top 5 bottom 5.  Each randomized.  So:

congratulations too Poteet, Kaufman, Lakeview Centennial and North Mesquite on advancing!! A little surprised to see MP in 7th after their season, but this area is super competitive. Happy to see HP back up, wouldn't be surprised if they are back at state soon! Super happy to see Kaufman in!

I've done a lot of realignment discussion regarding 6A Area C, but 5A Area C will be at least 10x tougher next year.

Potentially moving up from 4A to 5A:

Moving down from 5A to 4A:

Poteet is CRAZY strong this year! Way stronger than last year. They also have a really good prelims performance time slot. I see them in the 14th-19th range currently, but we'll see what they fix and clean this week!
