You think we can be stopped? we are immortal cut off one head of the hydra and it comes back as two. because of your intended disrespect you have been chosen for the zynocretic communication. I know you go to one of the risd schools, after reading all you posts over the last 20 minutes you are over interested which has given you away. what a foolish mistake. now you will suffer the consequences and face eternal judgement. Ill soon find out which school and then I will find you and eat you for my late afternoon snack

You see you have made the true blunder. You see maybe I'm an alumni, a parent, a director. Maybe I'm you and you're me. Reality doesn't exist and we are all living in the matrix. Pretty soon you'll wake up and I'll be standing over you ready to lock you back into the simulation. Keep hallucinating lil bro. Sit down and enjoy your English class.

New Sachse Band Director is Heath Nall.  He was the Director of Bands at West Plains High School in Amarillo.

Here's some of West Plains' recent accomplishments:

7th Place finish at the 2024 UIL 4A State Marching Contest
2025 TMEA 4A Honor Band

Amazing hire for Sachse - they are getting a well-respected and experienced director! They should continue to see the success they had this past year, and potentially could find themselves in the state finals bubble in a few years!

I’m excited to see what’s in store I just hope it’s not a struggle for him going from a 4a to 6a band

It helps that he's going to a school like Sachse with a history of success.  The resources and tools are likely available to him.

I mean last year was the first year since 2021 I believe they made state. Sure they have a better history of success than schools like the Richardson areas or even like the rockwall's but I think this director change is going to hurt Sachse bad. 4a-6a is a huge jump and with how difficult the area is people will be jumping at the opportunity for a state slot since there are so many director changes.

I wouldn't expect a huge drop off from them. It's not like the drill writer is changing and the show is gonna be great as always. It's not the band director who is the defending Area C champs it's the school of Sachse

It’s honestly tough to tell until we actually see them on the field. I’ve seen director changes significantly hurt programs and I’ve seen programs not skip a beat and actually improve drastically as a result of director changes so there’s no real way to know until the season starts. I’m of the opinion that schools like Sachse and Waxahachie will be fine as I think they both have strong foundations and principles that they abide by and things may not be as volatile as we think. I could be wrong though who knows (not that I want to be wrong of course).

These are the things that are hardest to guess. Just gotta love this unpredictable Area we’re in

I’m gonna go ahead and say I think Sachse will be fine. Do I think it’s impossible it hurts them, not at all. But it’s only one director who is coming from a very strong program. So, as long he doesn’t take long if at all to adapt to a larger program, I don’t think they’ll fall off. More than anything imo is if they have another strong show theme bc that was the real issue in 22 and 23, at least I think.

I’m also under the impression that both schools will be just fine. Good foundations and principles go a long way.

Regarding Sachse, SharksAreCool said it the best; the transition from 4A to 6A could “elevate his style.” I think it’s very likely this the case. Nall’s work jumpstarting the West Plains program has proven that he is the real deal, and now he has the resources and tools of a strong 6A program.

I do also think they need to start consistently putting out great shows like this year and 2021, but I’m confident that will be taken care of with a new face in the program.

I’d say it also depends on the trend that these bands are taking. Most of these bands like Sachse and Rockwall are having upward trends. It’s basically a battle between who can keep up with everyone else.
