2025 BOA San Antonio Super Regional (Nov. 7 & 8)

I long for the day when we can return to a system where video footage that is consistently high in quality can be purchased and re-watched as many times as you like. I would gladly pay top dollar for that, especially if some of the proceeds went towards the bands.

It absolutely blows my mind that it's 2025 and the best option to showcase these incredible shows after they've been performed is a random "cake recipe" bootleg video on YouTube.

The activity as a whole deserves better.

I will say up higher this evening, those rotations at the end were not very pristine. Lots of good stuff musically. Will be close!

Unlike UIL, BOA results don't get leaked early. Have to wait until later tonight after awards are announced.

BOA has made available several hundred shows at https://video.musicforall.org/

It doesn't have everything of course, but has a decent selection back to 2010, and hit or miss before that. It is paid access with unlimited watching.

Have you not ever seen Magic School Bus from the 90s with Ms. Frizzle and the kids hoping ‘let this be a normal field trip’ but it ends up being the craziest field trips possible?

About as compelling a show theme as Cinco Ranch’s “Lemons” from last year. Got into a long debate with my wife about it. I just didn’t get it. lemons? What about them? Is there some meta meaning behind it? Is it a metaphor? Nope. Just…lemons.

Oh for sure,  but the props are very whimsical and the music is not. They just don't seem to go together but Hebron's execution is amazing

I think if the would've played parts of the theme song of the magic school bus it would really  captivated the audiences.... their music is solid but just adding that would have  made it more engaging.... but who am I to give advice on writing a show...
