Yeah Mabank and Ford got 2's, meaning currently I think we have 23 bands. Does anyone know how Region 20 and 31 did?

thats only 2 varsity bands, meaning that if there is 24 bands right now, we need one of the 2 varsity bands to make it.

The final 2 that could possibly determine how many advance to state is Life of Waxahachie HS and Carter HS, who are both first year Varsity groups

Last year they had a phenomenal show but crumbled due to tuning issues in the bad weather. This year if they can overcome that issue they could very well place in the top 5 spots and achieve the state status. I haven't seen their show this year but if it is anything like last year's they very well could make it.

What about Lincoln Hs, Pinkston Hs, and North Dallas Hs. They are region 20 as well

So if I'm wrong, I will admit it, but we won't know for sure until the official schedule is out, since there has been mis-information all over the UIL websites.

4A results from today's region 20 contest are posted to uilforms. Looks like this area will only advance four bands. I'm really excited for this contest. It will be a good one!

Congrats to Celina, Anna, Panther Creek, and Canton on their advancement to state!

Panther Creek is a new Frisco HS celebrating their first appearance at state. The other three bands are the gold, silver, and bronze champions from last year! I made it to finals and honestly thought Panther Creek was going to edge out Anna. It was an awesome night.
