  1. Area D is going to be one of the most competitive contests of the season...after all the showings at BOA, Cap City, Westlake..etc there is going to be fierce competition. You would have: Bowie Akins Anderson Westlake Pflugerville McNeil Round Rock Churchill Reagan Leander This could be an interesting year...

  3. Interesting cause if i am correct McNeil has an exit show and a pre show and only stops playing for 9 - 10 measures of the whole show....not being biased cause i am not in the band anymore...i am just saying its something i observed from the stands yesterday. I saw all the shows.
  4. Watching the shows....Cedar Park was def the best Musically, Round Rock was a very visually pleasing show, and McNeil was the crowd favorite...i think McNeil and Cedar Park will both be forces to be reckoned with at BOA Houston. I do have to say thought that Round Rock spends most of their show doing Karate moves with Synthesizer playing instead of actually playing music which would explain their lower music score. WHILE CP/Bowie/McNeil played almost the entire time...
  5. I only have the class AAAA (5A Bands) results: The scores were out of 1000 but i am just gonna consolidate them out of 100. What does this say about BOA Houston next weekend? FINAL RESULTS: 1. 11. Yea Leander came pretty close, and I think McNeil will have a shot just based on their show next year. Remember Vista ridge and CP both went to state last time.
  12. It will be interesting to see how the AREA D 5A competition will now pan out. Cause now bands like Leander, McNeil, Round Rock, and etc will really be stepping up their games to clinch those finals/state spots.
  13. The game before veterans day and the evening of the Ft. Hood Tragedy the McNeil band and Georgetown band combined for an armed forces tribute at half time. I really thought it was neat thing and respectful.

  20. Class AAAA got rained out and part of Class AAA had to compete in a stand still contest. Bands that elected not to go were: Westlake John Paul Stevens McNeil Round Rock
  21. lol yea McNeil noticed that....we were lacking of props and visuals. Apparently our marching wasn't too good based on the judges tapes. lol
  22. I Know McNeil Will be there...and after our last place finish at the USSBA Central Preview...we are def stepping it up a notch.
  23. The McNeil Mavs are bringing their A games and their new uniforms!
  24. Our Show actually has a Bassoon solo and ensemble in it. Makes for an interesting oppening.
