Lone Star great job.... great sound... tuba feature was more clear and clean... another mishap with tarp... hope they have it fixed by Prosper next weekend...

Finals are about to begin with Keller.....

The tarp not being pulled out in time I think might have effected them a little bit.... if it weren't for that in my opinion they would have won GE too.... but what do I know....

This contest is going to get crazy....... These bands want make sure where they stand in their respective classes..

This comp has turned into a rivals showdown... Flomo vs. Hebron. Lone Star vs. Wakeland vs. Aledo...

You're probably right.... but i don't see how they tied FloMo should have taken that too.... just my opinion...

I really feel FloMo has the edge of Hebron.... just watching the difficulty of the marching that FloMo has and the technique is amazing not to take away from Hebron they're top 2 in the nation but FloMo has this in my opinion.... I know I'm knew at this.... please be kind...

Ditto.... the drill is great but the music is not it.... just my opinion.... music is great for concert season but not for a field.... door is open now...

Aledo is now in that 4 or 5 place

I think they could be 4 or 5... my opinion but that doesn't mean much..

They did great...sounded great....

All I have to say is FloMo Flawless...... im sorry Hebron.... but they are just amazing.... I saw Hebron last weekend in Melissa they were amazing but FloMo has that it factor for me.... and the color guard was superb...... little things when it comes to the color guard placement of hands when catching tosses but I also give them a break because the wind has picked up.... but just freaking amazing FLOWER MOUND.... GREAT JOB AMAZING SHOW START TO FINISH.......

Ok after that round of bands it's hard for me to but them in any order...... each band had amazing high points and minor things that separate them in areas...... in my opinion Lone Star played their music much more clearly and concise..... yes wax. Wakeland, Wylie East, Lone Star; SLC were all loud but to me Lone Star was more clear.... Movement/ GE Wakeland WAX, and Wylie East were chugging along but had some individual issues with students..... So if i were to rank music I'd put 1. Lone Star 2 Wakeland 3. Wylie /wax 4. Wax/Wylie Movement/ GE I'd put 1. Wakeland 2. Wax 3. SLC 4. Lone Star. I know I'm a rookie to this but just how I see it..

Wylie sounded great.... still not preforming whole show band director told them to start at trumpet solo...

Lone Star sounded great some minor things.... I like the new ending......color guard had minor issues rolling out tarp at the end.... looks like she might had fainted...

I'm seeing Emerson and Reedy as a dark horse here... in top half..

Jackie Gilley is amazing.... I worked with her at NTCA.... Her critiques are very helpful.....can't believe it's been over 23 years..

Here's my current predictions after this weekend... I know I placed Lone Star high but their show is different and probably one of the best they’ve put on the field... Something is definitely different about them.... 1st: FloMo (Vis,GE) 2nd: Hebron (Mus) 3rd: Coppell 4th: Prosper 5th: Wakeland 6th: Lone Star 7th: Timber Creek 8th: Wax 9th: Keller 10th: Aledo 11th: LD Bell 12th: Sachse/Wylie East
