I don’t know if I’d disagree with ridge point over clear springs, don’t get me wrong clear springs is definitely improving, I love what’s going on over there, but I think ridge point can make a statement here for sure.

I can catch Tompkins and Cy-Ranch next Saturday or Thursday, not sure but that should be a good match up, football as well!! After that I’ll catch Bridgeland or Woods that following week.

Bridgeland going on last here! That first block is really gonna have to amp it up especially with the competition in the last block! Going in the morning as well sure doesn’t help, but I think that the first block will be just fine. Will be loving the last block INCLUDING clear lake as well lol

Yeah, I’ve been having that same feeling about Cinco..their show just doesn’t really “resonate” with me? It’s an interesting show but just feels cardboard-boxing ad feel? Weird mind-intricacy on my part but it’s just different, hope cinco is fine!

I’ve just realized a moment ago, that seven lakes is the only band in area I 6A to have advanced to state all the years of Area I!!

I agree, it always seems to be every year it’s someone new who sneaks in, you have the 4 locks in B-Land, Woods, Fair, 7L, but that 5th spot is almost never permanent, it’s almost like a switch-out every year 😂

Though my few questions are? Does Tompkins keep its state spot? Does Jordan beat out Tompkins? Does Bridgeland Win the area again? Depending on how well fair does? Could Jordan Beat out 7L for a state spot? What happens with Cinco Ranch, JET, Katy, Cy-Ranch, Langham, Paetow, Jersey Village? How does that order change up? Could one of those bands surprise everyone? Just so many questions!! Makes me claw at this year for area.

Predictions for LSP: Bridgeland North Shore Tomball Memorial Klein Oak Clear Brook College Park Oak Ridge Klein/Cy-Ranch Klein/Cy-Ranch Klein Collins/Klein Cain/Cy-Springs I lack knowledge on the lower 8-12 range so it could be anything, if you know anything about my predictions, it’s that they are usually WRONG. Lol

I feel like with BOA it’s more about the choreography itself and what level of depth/effectiveness it adds to the show, of course if it’s executed really well and in time that adds a nice “shine” but if it’s not really interesting choreography, it’s not really gonna add as much if it was some super cool ninja moves. With UIL, it’s more so about how clean, together, and consistent it was focusing more on the cleanliness aspect. With BOA it may not be the MOST together but if it’s fairly together it can do you a favor here or there, but like the person above me said, it depends on who’s judging.

I can’t lie, everyone in this area is stepping it UP! Even some of our lower ranked bands over at Cypress Ridge has some pretty cool show music?!?! Hope some day we get to have 12 finalists in this area, there are too many bands in this area that sound/look like an area finalist to not be one!! Let this area keep going the way it’s going and it’s going to be full of “heavy hitters” given a few years time.

I was at the parent preview performance, WOW. Is all I’ve got to say.

The price is right had me bobbing my head up and down like one of them rock show people 😂, especially that ending where they repeat those three 8th notes forever!

Agreed, if Cy-Fair can outlast Pearland at BOA, I think Bridgelands got a fair shot, though I will note Cy-Fair’s shows tend to be a bit more BOA oriented whereas Bridgeland is more UIL oriented IMO.

Depends on performance Draw for both bands, And I’m not sure if Jordan plans on finals at Shenandoah, not throwing any shade at Jordan but I think it’s a bit more likely they won’t make finals at Shenandoah.
