  1. As for the winner, I’m pulling for Jordan*
  2. Bridgeland MAY win this regional, Pearland and Cy-Fair could sneak in too, Reagan is strong but some of these other groups aren’t slackers at all and will do whatever it takes.
  3. From the tidbits(I just love this word) I’ve been able to gather, this seems like a strong judging group all around.
  4. 1. Bridgeland 2. Cy-Fair 3. Seven Lakes 4. Cy-Woods 5. Jordan 6. Seven Lakes 7. Tompkins 8. Katy/Cy-Ranch 9. Cy-Ranch/Langham Creek 10. Langham Creek/Cinco Ranch Im not sure about yall but im just not really feeling cincos design this year lol
  5. I think last years judging was a good consistent judging of an area marching contest.
  6. It really is, I think I’ll call this the “new” generation of Area I, oldies with some new faces in the mix and some talent switches. I think Katy could maybe take a direction the woodlands takes? Something jazzy considered their 23’ show.
  7. Katy has grown quite a bit over the last few years, I can see them possibly advancing on to the SMBC this season, it’s just SUCH a strong Top 5 especially with our typical state goers such as Cy-Woods, Bridgeland, Cy-Fair, and Seven Lakes.
  8. I’m really pulling for this area to catch up to all of the others!!!
  9. Don’t worry, through some slightly illegal processes I got it!
  10. Trust I didn’t 😂
  11. Paetow. I always forget about Paetow, if we’ve got any paetowians(never using that word AGAIN) I’m sorry lol, let me edit that.
  12. I just love the way you word things
  13. Predictions: 1. Jordan 2. 7L 3. Tompkins 4. Katy 5. James E. Taylor 6. Cinco Ranch 7. Paetow 8. Freeman 9. Mayde creek 10. Morton Ranch This is for all Katy schools
  14. I really hope so, but now All of our Texas giants won’t be missing SA this year because of grand bars besides Bridgeland and Cedar Park/leander and few others.
  15. Agreed, very excited to see what this brings for Seven Lakes building onto it, I know this was Bridgelands first time, and another bands first time advancing to the area round, still waiting on the full placements of Area F
  16. No cypress woods this year, also congratulations to seven lakes for advancing for the first time!!
  17. My prediction: 1. Vandegrifty 2. Reagan 3. Rousehouse 4. Rounder Rocker 5. Leanda 6. Drip Springs 7. Moe and Gene’s Johnson’s 8. James Bowie 9. Woodwest 10. Cypress-Fairbanks High school no. 8, (woods) 11. Forney 12.Hendricks son/Mcneil.
  18. Just a quick note, cy-woods dropped this regional.
  19. I would also like to bring light on Cypress Woods, they were only 3 off of finals so that gives me hope for them to make their first super-regional finals appearance.
  20. I could see Jordan beating 7L to win the Katy contest, definitely clear brook but I Cy-Fair and Bridgeland are bands they are going to need to have leaps and bounds over to beat. Some bands at Lonestar preview that will make finals Jordan will beat for sure. But if they’re aiming to beat out 3 state finalists then they must be planning something huge.
  21. Whichever they drop if they attend both will allow for an unexpected band to get to compete at a finals event so that’s neat. Although if I were Jordan, I’d most likely drop the Katy Contest.
  22. Most likely was, I’m not too sure about what their program holds for next year but I wish them luck. Katy ISD invitational should be nice, Jordan/tompkins/seven lakes could win. 1. Jordan 2. Tompkins 3. Seven Lakes
