The Top/Bottom draw for area is starting to take effect in 2024. UIL marching band committee just approved it this past winter. -

Remember though, finals is a top half/bottom half draw, So, if Foster places into the top 5 in prelims (not impossible) then theyβll go on 6th in Finals. -

That last movement looked to be thrown on this week. Part of their cleanliness seems to come from some easier drill. Quite a bit of standing on yardlines and directly inbetween. I really hope their closer comes out with some spice. They do sound very good. -

TMEA 6A State Semi-Finals will take place at a high school in the San Antonio area on Wednesday, July 24th. The 22 competing bands will be split into 2 rooms of 11 bands. The top 5 bands from each room will advance to the state finals round taking place on Thursday, July 25th at the Texas Bandmasters Association annual convention. -
