Area F is taking 5, it just looks like 4 because of the military groups not going to area.

While no decision from UIL State office been made, Sharyland and Pioneer high school are currently under investigation due to confirmed UIL violations. While only a reprimand was given by the Region 15 committee, this issue has been elevated to the state level by the principal of Gladys Porter Early College High School. Here’s the media coverage:

Maybe, if judges manage their numbers well/Foster has a good run, I could see them over Brook. I think Brook still beats them in Vis.

Foster (Super hard show, they are going to be a victim of draw time most likely) 7. Shadow Creek (Beautiful show, Huge sound, clean drill, some of the show feels pedestrian) 8. Pasadena Memorial (While their music scores will be lower than this, they look VERY clean and move well) 9. Clear Lake (They sound very good, visual accuracy is inconsistent) 10. Clear Falls (Good show, too many moments that hit or miss for me to put them in right now)

New this year: Finals is split into top half/bottom half performance order. Bands that placed 6-10 in prelims will be the first half to go on. Bands that placed 1-5 in prelims will be the last half.

FINAL: 14 Bands will compete in Prelims with the top 7 advancing to finals. Finals performance order will be determined by a top 3/bottom 4 split based off of prelims results. 2 bands will advance to the UIL State Marching Contest.

Only 11 Groups got 1st divisions from Region 23. In order to send 5 to the state contest, we need 14/16 bands from Region 27 to get 1st divisions.

Klein Collins got a 2 because they didn’t stop performing until after the 8 min clock ran down.
