I have been waiting for my big "500th" post to come and here it is.... I declare, predict, manifest...... THE Orange Wave Band from Rockwall, Texas will advance to the STATE MARCHING CONTEST in the 1-4th position....(the official prediction contest I have them 2....but I think anywhere 1-4 is possible! Peaking at the right time! *GO AWAY RAIN*

It’s 10 at finals. Least for Area C with 4 state spots

I doubt it was a conscious decision to march an ineligible marcher. If they realized after fact, and then reported themselves...as much as it sucks...they did the honorable thing. It's rough though. I don't know much about this Area...would they have contended for a State spot themselves? Wish the system was something solid like 5 bands per area no matter size. Will definitely feel for the band that finishes 5th....but there will be AMAZING bands in in C and J that also will miss state because Region is LOADED but has a smaller number of bands.

Sounds right! I was thinking Boyd and Rock Hill.....didn't Prosper go because they had that Texas Texas yehaw one

Friday looks like the best day in the next 4-5 days but guessing stadiums aren’t available due to football. Moving up might be strain on transportation departments too. I think these regions are praying to be able to get prelims in on Saturday and use those results if necessary

Seems like a few years ago in C there was a tie and only one advanced but could be wrong.

All the rain predictions didn’t start until these UIL post were made 😡 😂

In all seriousness, it will be interesting to see what they decide. We have the driest September/October in ages and this is the week it decides to come. I’m just going to keep manifesting sunny and 72!

Don’t sweat it, its either a comedy show or predicting with hearts. Go look at the predictions page. You will find top 10’s without Forney, or top 10’s without Rockwall, or top 10’s without Wax. So….stick around awhile and you figure out the real credible predictions and the ones that are doing for fun. For record, I think both types are fine, just take them what they are worth. None of the judges are on here checking out what us keyboard fans are predicting 😂

When and where are we meeting to do the rain rain go away dances? Surely Area C is strong enough together to hold off the rain. Option B....we empty out Town East and perform inside the Lidz?

If forecast doesn’t change, Rockwall calls dibs on the Hebron boats from a few years ago.

There were some issues in prelims and whispers of adjustments but not really sure how that all shook out.

If you were in Area J, they have the same contest except Hebron, Marcus, and FM get to start at the 35

I heard that each band will pick two members to conduct a wheel barrel race from goal line to goal line. First 4 4 to cross the goal line go to state. Good Luck....choose wisely.

This is Texas. It could be 80 and clear by Saturday 😂
