Yeah okay I’m fully convinced BAC will win. They only lost the weekend bc of 1 GE judge. They are going to take Gold. Just have to clean some and it will eventually overtake bloo. Dropping finals preds now: 1. BAC (brass/perc/vis/gaurd) 2. Bloo (GE) 3. SCV 4. BD 5. PR/Crown 6. Crown/PR 7. Mandies 8. Cavies 9. Troops 10. Blue Stars 11. BK 12. Colts —— 13 SOA 14. Madison 15. PC 16. Music City 17. Academy 18. Crossmen After tonight, it seems Crown has caught up to Phantom. I personally see it, I think Crown not revealing everything till now is good as PR has been the same since San Antonio. Other than that, and maybe Troops passing Cavies which I kinda hope happens this is my guess. Also first few out is a long guess lol, could completely change in a couple days

Nah Bloo def taking vis this year I think. Tonight is gonna be a good indicator for how if at all BAC has at catching up to Bloo, which I’m personally hoping happens as I want Boston to get their first win, but I can’t deny how insanely good Bloo has gotten. I don’t agree with the gap between BD and PR at all and think Phantom was the better option last night. I’ll be watching again tonight and will drop my preds for finals after Innovation on Monday. Troops are looking like they might catch BS, and my god that new ending broke my heart. I don’t see Mandies catching Crown, I think both are gonna land in 7th and 6th. I’m really watching the top 5 and 8-10 as I believe BK will be 11th and Colts 12

This would be insane 💀 I’d say vista and Vandy will continue to be 1 &2, as for the other 3 it would depend on who’s the strongest each season. And I feel like Westlake could possibly slip in every now and then, especially if it gets big enough for them to take 5 to state.

I think McNeil will at least be top 5 if not 3.

Yeah I think last seasons show just wasn’t as strong but 22& 23 were amazing

idk man. Braswell of recent definitely does tend to have continuous growth over the season where Lone Star normally has their full show ready and pretty cleaned up, but I don't think it's impossible, but I think LS will prob take it but don't be surprised if they don't

I love this idea! I think me personally would just be a grand nationals of all the best bands from each state. I’d say 40-45% of the roster would be Tx bands, and I’d just use previous results from that season to determine who gets invited. Then obv the top dawgs from Indiana, Oklahoma, Florida, California, Ect. And, it would all be judged by me and my friends from high school/college that did/are marching. I think that would be pretty fun lol. We’d call it Grand Nationals Premium (kinda basic Ik). And, it would finally be held either at the Alamodome or somewhere in the middle of all the states.

I do wanna say that I think BAC and SCV are gonna start pulling away from Bloo and BD. SCVs show just has more going for it than BD though BD was amazing so I’m not fully convinced just yet. As for Bloo, their show just lacks the same flow and cohesiveness as last years. Like I really am starting to like it less as the season goes on. They are amazing don’t get me wrong but BACs full ending isn’t even on the field, they’ve got plenty of work to do visually (guard needs to lock in fr), but idk I think if they don’t that, even if Bloo cleans up musically which I don’t see them passing BAC if they do, BAC will just be more clean but I could be completely wrong. I’m just expecting some form of settle-ness from here on out

LFG SCV ANE BAC!!!! The placements were exactly how they should have been. My favorite was def Phantom, was crying the last 2 minutes. But everyone was just phenomenal, this show is just unreal. Finals will be insane

Also, and obviously it’s two different panels, but holy crap mandarins are closing in. Crown and possibly phantom might need to watch out a little.

So tonight was insane. Everyone showed up and showed out. PC was my first with tonight bc of lots and they were solid. The first half was pretty tight, I liked the jazzy Italian ish section. Love the musical writing and guard was solid. Crown-HOLY BRASS!! I mean they are so freaking loud, much better then last years. Just such raw power, and the perc and guard was ridiculous. They do still have some pretty good work drill wise, cover downs and some other stuff and I still have no idea what they are going for design wise but what amazing sounds. SCV- this show was so much and then some. SCV is back, and they blew the roof off. Love the drill/design, so so creative and fresh. There is a lot going on but it’s nice bc it provides good variety. Their brass is really freaking clean and I love that book so much. If this does not matter, I will be very surprised. I think this is my favorite show from Boston ever. chills the entire time, so much for variety in style in the brass book which is so appreciated I mean, they are only gonna be going up from here. really I think once they clean up visually they’re gonna take bloo and win it all and that guard is unreal, not their best run tonight, but I think they will win it in the end. But yeah, if Boston doesn’t step off the pedal, my 2025 champs bloo was also insane. They are so freaking loud just like Boston and Crown and Vanguard though I do wish they had more musical variety as at least in person and really feels like they’re just blasting a ton which isn’t bad but I think that’s why there was the gap in brass between them in Boston and I think it will stay that way the rest of the season. Their guard is also insane and visually just so impressive. They are literally playing while running. I think the scores were right on, and don’t be surprised when Boston passes Bloo, it really is only a matter of time imo, but then again Bloo is on a role

Well, it seems that BUGWB will be going to the TCU Baylor game this date rather than an exhibition performance:( i understand why but considering we are hosting again I’d imagine we’d be there, it might change but we got our schedule today and the game is on October 18th so…yeah 😕

I’m pretty sure that it was only area getting a judge format change. State should be keeping the same 7-judge format that’s been used post-Covid

Happy Monday everyone! It’s a big week for DCI as we begin the Texas tour in just 2 days!!! I wi be at Denton, San Antonio and McKinney this year and am very excited. Will probably do live updates at Denton and SA, still don’t know yet but here’s my preds for San Antonio: 1. BAC 2. Bloo 3. SCV 4. BD 5. PR 6. Crown 7. Mandies 8. Cavies 9. Blue Stars 10. Blue Knights 11. Troopers 12. Colts —— 13. Scouts 14. Crossmen 15. SOA 16. Pacific Crest 17. The Academy everyone else My reason for BAC in first is more of a possibility than anything. They have the Friday before SA to rehearse where Bloo is going to the show in Houston. I think Bloo wins Denton and the BAC SA since they have that extra day to clean. Super excited for these next few days, hope everyone’s getting to go to some shows as well!

Great lineup! Lovejoy still has Celina on their calendar so I’m guessing their still deciding what comp their gonna do but this will be a great one again! Cool to see Lake Belton making the trip!
