Hebron’s 2019 Show is officially titled “Among the Stars” via their twitter. I know the name has been floating around for a while but now it is official.

They just haven’t been the same since their director left them for Calculus after their grand nats performance in 2009...

They were huge and I was blown away by their individual marching technique this early...but it felt very lacking in GE to me.

I’d love to see LD Bell return to their glory days, here’s to hoping this year is great for them.

I see this multiple times with not just CTJ supporters but a lot of posters. Someone mentions something that’s just slightly out of line and they are jumped on. It happened with CTJ when someone tried to state they were using music from a show they did 2 years ago (in a support of reprise not just a diss about reusing it, mind you), it happened here when they were giving a compliment (hence the word astounding in their response) but still fact checking. I’ve seen it happen times before just being a lurker on here. It’s those interactions that make some have disdain for certain programs. I love the show design intricacy and insane visual maturity that the CTJ band has but seeing its supporters interact in such a way takes down from how I view them. (Same thing for when in the SA voting game, people making alternate accounts to vote for Hebron soured the feeling of Hebron despite their amazing musicality). I’m 100% sure Pinecone wasn’t tying to degrade the CTJ band, they were just simply amazed by a stat, looked it up, corrected it, but still administered praise. This just goes as a lesson to everyone that 99% of posters in here are supportive of all bands big and small so please take things with a grain of salt. No one is trying to bash programs and fact checking is certainly not a form of bashing. Just please keep an open mind to the fact that no one can accurately read tone from words written on a keyboard, and that people are generally more supportive than you think.

I think they were just trying to clarify why it sounded similar since some pieces are being reprised, not that he knows everything about the show and program.

For sure. Sculpt is my all time favorite show and it became hard to vote for because people soured it like that.

Yeah, not a fan of the new accounts. I want sculpt to win as much as anyone else but it looks way worse to create more accounts to rig those votes. It just kinda takes away from the fun of this game. If your favorite show doesn’t win, then that’s ok. (I mean imagine how CTJ people feel)

I’ve seen Hebron’s show once this year at their opening game, their drill wasn’t finished yet but it looked difficult yet readable, so here’s to hoping their visuals are finally near where their music has been.

I think Michael Martin arranges all their music and I’m fairly sure he’s with the Cavaliers
