In prelims, Reagan didn’t throw weapons due to the very strong winds.. they didn’t wear their plumes because of potential rain in prelims or finals.

That was Hornrank not TMC but I hope Hornrank corrects- they have Reagan’s score as 17 and didn’t list all of the caption awards

I purchased the dvd of the contest- a man in a blue and black shirt grabbed the mic off the pedestal and unplugged it during the solo. To be fair it was POURING and the stands were quickly clearing before the band was stopped.

According to my event schedule, this was a planned break between top and bottom half.

You need my weather ap- it has a 51% chance st 2pm and clear before and after. High 88 with a “real feel” of 96! Don’t know what I think about the “feel” prediction haha

I don’t see anything wrong with it but if the band spells out Whataburger on the field, concessions is gonna get busy!

I agree. What does your SA finals list look like? Could have 6-7 Austin bands.. SA 2018 looks to eclipse the epic 2017 Super Regional!

After seeing the majority of these bands I think Leander is in front. I still like Vandy to medal. The first 2-3 minutes of Vandy’s early show is great musically and visually but after that I loose interest.. not to say my opinion may change with the progression of the show,but for now it looks like too many people standing still - of course sounding awesome

I agree. I have seen a video of Cedar Park and would be surprised if you don’t medal.

I would agree with your top four but think Leander and CTJ could swap..but CTJ show is a bit more interesting so I would put it ahead of Leander. 5. Cedar Ridge 6. Round Rock 7. Bowie

September 21 CTJohnson vs Ronald Reagan should be a wall of sound. CTJ with 345 and Reagan with 349! They keep building around here so those numbers will keep going up. The Fall festival is October 2 so we get to see Churchill and Madison too. Madison has a large band but I haven’t heard how many- any Madison folks know?
