    Thats a good one. Thats what I love about DCI and Marching bands in general. Everyone has a different favorite show and that is alright.

    I'm not gonna edit my comment from June 30th, however I did fail to mention my all time favorite DCI Show. That would belong to 2010 Cavaliers - Mad World. This show from the pre-show to the very end, has a define "edge of the seat" feeling/tone if that makes sense. The opener is jaw dropping even 12 years later. And that closer...... Beyond words. Imo, they deserved the win and not 2nd place.

    Not Covid. It was because of the field conditions that I believe all the groups did a standstill performance. Of course, Cavies did their standstill because of Covid.

    I got my Phan Tour shirt tonight!!! SUTA!!!! Side Note, for the longest time, I always had difficulty trying to figure out which corp was my true favorite. As a little kid, my favorite was the Cavies, however now that I'm an adult, I have fully realized that Phantom Regiment is my favorite. It was because of how I was watching them progress through the 2021 season and then so far in this season, I realized that I never did that for any other group. Also, in my opinion, the depth of Phantom's shows is a little bit more than the Cavalier's shows, (That I watch and love). Although my all-time favorite DCI Show is Mad World 2010 Cavaliers. I know, I know, I'm weird.

    Just wanted to update everyone, Lumberton has gotten some pretty decent additions to their Director Team! One of them is even on The Cadets Visual Team or something.

    There is quite a bit to choose from. I am a bit picky when it comes to shows that I like, as I tend to only watch shows from a few groups, which is not really a good thing but it's just something I do. The shows that come to my mind as Favorites would be: Phantom - 1989, 1996, 2003, 2021 Cavaliers - 1995, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2021 Star of Indiana - 1993 Velvet Knights - 1992 Carolina Crown - 2015 & 2018 Glassmen - 2006 Cadets - 2006 (that ballad is probably my favorite in DCI History) Santa Clara Vanguard - 2009, 2013, 2014 Now, even though 2022 just started, there are several shows that I have my eyes locked on.     Lumberton lost 3 directors yesterday. This is a big hit to the program as we are nearing the start of several band camps in the upcoming few weeks. I have faith that they will be able to find good replacements before Summer Band.

    You know whats funny? I also said in a Marching Band Discord Server that the way the Bluecoats props are set up, it gave me The Woodlands 2019 Vibes. Now thinking about it, Totally a show that TWHS would do.

    You also gotta think, I'm pretty sure we are not professionals; however I do disagree with Cavies being 3rd and Phantom being 4th. Also, we are still in the early stages of the season, anything can happen.

    Cavaliers was an interesting one. I like their show but it didnt have that GE effect that I normally love from them.

    I can't say this enough, if that show is already THAT good, come August, they could really turn all heads to them.
