I was naming off all the bands that were in the last 6 slots. Not sure if thats the actual order they placed. Although I do know Bridge City placed 4th.

You receive points for guessing correctly on the dot and around. Example: If you predicted Wylie East for 6th, you would get .75 points for having them 1 spot where they actually placed. You can get a lot of points for just having the groups near where they placed.

I could see that happen. I was honestly waiting for all the negative comments about me having Lumberton in 4th. I get the overall vibe in here about Lumberton and it aint good. I completely understand the show being messy at times, but they absolutely can/do clean up real fast and especially leading up to Area. Also, they outplaced everyone who had predicted in 7th - 10th last year and think they will do the same this year.

Yes, Nederland is Military however they only do Region and that's it. I don't think they have gone to an area contest since the mid 2000's. They honestly could do decent at Military State however the directors just choose to end it at region every year. Also, this is not a gripe at Nederland, but their routine is copied and pasted every year. They are the biggest offender when it comes to the same ole stuff every year.

I doubt there would be a finals. If moved indoors, it most likely will be 1 round only.

The guard was a strong component to the program before Covid (Multiple years of beating 5A/6A schools that had twice the number in the guard compared to Lumberton. They also were the only 4A school in the TCGC Scholastic A Class and placed 3rd at State back in 2019). After Covid, the guard has been rebuilding itself from having only 6 members in 2021 to 17 this year. I will say last year and this year feels more like the pre-covid Lumberton guard. Can not wait to see them transform and blossom in the future years. Now I dont know if the band itself has any 8th graders marching. I doubt it as typically Lumberton only has them in the front ensemble and guard.

Lumberton has 8th graders in the colorguard. They are pretty good this year!
