Yes I went to go hear them on Monday with my son( alumni) They have 4/5 movements of there show learned and are marching 3/5 movement really really well and they sound great for being this early in the season. I’m not going to see them again tho until heb contest and there area . So we’ll see by the time this contest comes around

Top 3: Marcus Keller Haltom . In no specific order cause you honestly never know

I didn’t get any details about the theme . I just heard the music and they sound decent for being August . It’s more of those last few spots for state are gonna be fighting for it .

I really do agree . Keller is incredible. And haltom was really impressing last year and the show they are putting out is so awesome and they sound incredible so early. But coppell last year was rough and same with duncanville . Now ld bell wasn’t bad last year but after what I saw yesterday in the video of them . I’m not sure they can beat some of the groups either . But than again coppell and duncanville do better for uil and state . So we will see on them . But I feel confident in saying atleast Keller and haltom are pretty good locks other than that . It’s anyones game

Have a friend who graduated there last year send me a video and they are good but idk about beating out groups like haltom. Keller . Or coppell. Or duncanville After hearing Ld bell maybe . But idk there are some killer groups . Just wonder if they will take 5 or 6 to state then maybe

I’ve heard that haltom has one of the spot in the last Saturday block and that other groups from dfw are also playing Friday as well

I think they are doing movement 8,10 and I’m not sure about the others but I hope they do 14!!

I can say. I had a feeling they would be good because of what the did and accomplished last year but I had no clue they were gonna sound like that on just the first week . Like I was impressed

The way it was arranged is incredible as well as just there sound quality at this early in the season is crazy. As well as I think this is the first group as well that there whole music selection is carmina burana . All I can say is this is definitely the best haltom I’ve ever heard but we will see in November!!!

Honestly they sorta blew me away alittle . There first movement . Wow I didn’t think they could play like that . But they learned and match tonight movement one and two of there show. Second movement is alittle rough but that’s because they learned it today and it’s a few solos and they are alittle shaky but nothing that can’t be fixed in a week . And I can’t see to where they grow to by state

I’m going tonight to go listen to them and I’ll let you know . I’ve heard that’s as well and there show concept and design is put together very well this year but I’ll let you know
