Hearing around from other parent and friends and haltom kids there show is something outstanding and full of a lot of incredible music and extremely difficult pieces . I'm very excited to see what they are gonna bring this year . Everyone watch out for bisd groups ! Also birdville is sounding incredible without a doubt this year very impressed and Richland is eh . With this being said it's the first year in like 5 years that this has happened . And if you looked at the scores both sister school were so very close to each other . Very impressed with them in past years and very excited what they bring to the table ! Both competing at broken arrow invitational and I believe haltom is attending boa Atlanta this year . We will see

I don't agree with the haltom thing . Haltom has been to servals boa outside of the state of Texas as well as Richland . Both of these bands are incredible . Do I agree with Richland being above . No but I do agree with both being better than coppell and wakeland . !! Just my opinion

1. Tarpon springs 2-4 . I've watched from other years past and I believe it's gonna be between cedar ridge , haltom , and Wando 5. Possibly Keller central but from what I saw last year they need a lot of improvement . This is gonna be a great boa and I can't wait to see what each band come out with

obviously you don't know what show design and good music is. Usually in years past there shows haven't been the best but visual and musically they where great this year and sorry but I was at area b and plano east was no where near where halTom or even timbercreek where. I don't know what you ARe talking about

I feel that if halTom didnt have 2 judges place then so low in area than they would do fantastic at state. Sad to think I cant see there show was last time. LOVED the design and music also color scheme. Can't wait to see what they are going to provide next year. BUT I wish they where here today

I feel like in SR1 Haltom is gonna be a real contender. CAN'T wait to see how this plays out

What I don't understand is how Haltom had 3 judges advancing them and both the 4 and 5th place people only had 2. But the other judges placed them 9th and 10th. It's sad. Cause I believed with more time and no wind in the alamo dome they would have rocked it.

So with all this being said who are you think I'll make finals and who do you think will advance overall????

I'm going to be honest I truly don't like there show this year. I remember listen to them in 2014 and I thought it was pretty and kinda cool but this year's makes me cringe tbh

I only saw you once at heb contest and yall were alright. I believe you will make finals this weekend but there are some big bands and they pretty much have there spots for top 5 / advancing to state unless something goes wrong

What do you think about Haltom from what was seen this previous weekend .?

the band advancing to state just depends on how many bands get 1s in uil. If 25 bands in our area get 1s and move onto area then 5 bands will advance

Haltom: Festival

This year I have seen Haltom show several time and truly believe that I can see them in top 5 for sure. Years past they haven't done so well but I think they have a chance. Props are beautiful and music is spectacular. There show is title festival and I am beyond excited to see what they have to offer at state this year
