Take a look at the Vista Ridge Tuba Line on the State Finals Video -Link: . VR had the Tubas moving around like they were holding trumpets. They were running, spinning dancing and moving through most of the show. Look at sections 2:37 to 4:17 and 6:05 to 7:06 for good examples. It's a bulky, heavy instrument but these kids were moving and hauling with them!! My tip would be to not let anyone tell you it can't be done.

For the VRMF Lampasas recently signed up and I see Anderson on the spreadsheet but they don't show signed up yet on the VR web site. Lake Travis is still signed up on 10/5/19 for the VR Marching Festival. How solid is your info. on them attending BOA Houston? If solid we may be able to free up a slot for a different Band for the VRMF.

Not sure when Leander and Vandegrift will be but Vista Ridge will have the Parent Preview Concert Friday 5/3. If you haven't heard yet; the VRHS show reveal will be tomorrow (4/23) at 4pm. I think it may be live streamed over the Vista Ridge Band Boosters Facebook page.
