So true, where is the good news? Oh right... the media doesn't think thats newsworthy. However, someone has to take the position of the hypocrit. Is it not true that during the Revolutionary war against Britain that some the American rebels took to guerilla warfare? (Battle of the Cowpens? I'm sorry to admit my US History is not good enough to name specific battles) Obviously, they realized that if the met in 2 long lines on the battlefield, as dictated by the 'Rules of Engagement' back then, that they would be slaughtered. And here we are in modern times, down-talking the same thing we did 225 years ago (with good reason I might add). We were afraid for our survival back then, and the terrorists blowing up our troops now are afraid for themselves. Just some mind-candy.

Now now, I know they meant it in a joking way. This is a positive place! Now for my theme song, I'd have to say Tribute by Tenacious D.

To kick it off, one idea is individual FTP accounts... An FTP account (File Transfer Protocol) is basically a hard drive online, hosted by TxBands. You can access this account from any computer that has internet. Basically, this is an easy way to transfer files from home to school or a friends house without burning a CD or using a flash drive.

So far most of our additions to TxBands have been geared towards the development of the community: Predictions that compete with other people User sites to stay connected Media for all etc. (Maybe a list wasn't a good idea...) Although we ultimately want to achieve the Ultimate Band Community, we also need to cater to the individuals that make up the community. So after all that blah blah above, I want everyone to tell me what you need and want from a website, and how we can help you. No ideas are too outrageous! (Must be legal).
