Hrmm, every band has their own ways. We raise it by hosting Winterguard/Winter Percussion championships, also participate in 4 fundraisers a year. Not much concession stands though.

I love that, makes me feel superior over others. When friends tell me, "im so afraid to fail this TAKS test", it actually makes me feel good since im one level above them. No worries, and no STRESS
