  1. http://rapidshare.de/files/7887791/Suiteof...clysms.mp3.html That should work! Just Click Free, wait until the time is out and then click the download link.
  2. Darn, hit my bandwith limit. Hold on, I'll host it on rapidshare.
  3. And of course there are pits. And there are random visuals, like lunges, laying down, dancing, or something with your arms like our "crucifixion" visual in Wild Nights (not official name, I just call it that). These really depend on your head director and what he likes. Hmmmm... what else... well, there's always follow boxes and whatnot... oh yeah, hornflashes and stuff... other than that, some schools use synthesizers... which you know, I guess is all right, but it's really not our style. We like to do all the lifting ourselves, if you know what I mean. And some people mic pit stuff and solos, whihc, again, is not our style. I suppose the pit thing might change though... I doubt it will be next year though. As soon as I get a DVD of our performance at North TEcas I'll upload it so you all can have a look. It's pretty awesome. Anyawys, other than that, I can't think of anything right now.... Oh yeah, we got Double G's and high E's for the 1st trumpets in our show. That's not common.
  4. Our team is horrible. Just plain horrible.
  5. I think the coolest drill I have ever seen would have to be the Cavalier's Spin Cycle.
  6. you have to admit, though, Grand Nats in Texas would be pretty amazing. Our band might would even go then...
  7. Are you saying that the system for UIL's state competition gives the program a bad name then?
  8. Sounds interesting; what show was that?
  9. Lol, no, no, you misunderstand, I meant the pit can handle playing the cymbals, so they should drop the cymbals, then they should add more brass.
  10. Sounds good to me. I would say the pit can handle the job fine.
  11. Lmao, that's ironic, because they are all actually amarching arrangements of songs I wrote over the summer. Mvt 1 is Blizzard, and it is actually like a little over 4 minutes long. Mvt 2 is Brave New World, Mvt2 and it is in its entirety. Mvt 3 is Blood Hail and Fire, and it was originally 2 min 18 sec long. And the 4th Mvt is The Four Horsemen and it was originally 7 minutes and 1 second long.
  12. I dunno... if people will actually use it, it's cool with me.
  13. So are there only cymbals in the pit then?
  14. I dunno... if pepole would just say something more often than like once every ten minutes then my life would be that much better. And I guess I've been waiting for someone... anyone, to listen to my Suite and tell me what they tihnk of it so far.
  15. Lmao, yeah, our trumpet director has that posted in his window. My favorite part is where it says "If you can't play this why don't you call your mommy?"
  16. Hmmm..... these forums seem rather dead... there are a coupe of people logged on, but no seems to have anything to say.
  17. I think it would be cool to do a show that is primarily corp but also with some of those really cool military visuals (Like staggered turns and stuff), except, keep the horns facing front always (unless you're facing back field for effect)
  18. ...I hate Key Poulan. His compositoins (at least the roiginal ones) are weak, and they all sound the same. DOn't believe me? Go to his sight and listen to recordings of them! Anyways, I would have to say, that if it were an arrangement of previously written pieces, I think it would have to open with Shostakovich's Opus 110a, with allegro molto first and largo second. Then, it woud feature Night on Bald Mountain which would then modulate into Mars as the closer. However, if you drop by the composer's corner you can have a listen to my "Suite of Assorted Cataclysms"; I would love to perform that.
  19. I'm looking forward to seeing what our band can do next year.
  20. Hollllly crap, that show is friggin' hilarious! I love it!
