Career in Music

Ever heard the term starving artist? Lol, but seriosuly, it is hard to make it as a composer, from what I've heard. I'm not sure if you have posted anything or not, but I don't ever recall hearing any of your work, so its hard for me to say for sure. Perhaps you cold post something you've written? That would help me get a better grip on your situation... but yeah, like I said, starving artist. But good luck to you, sir. It's not the path for me, but I figure I'll keep writing as a hobby anyways. -
Interesting... nice dissonant feel. I like it, myself. I wish we had more to hear though.

I hate how they've bundled Itunes and Quicktime now... what a pain. I definitely think that the government and Mac are working together to bring music under the control of a fascist regime... but I digress. Bah, that Key poulan. Ah well... anyways... I'm still waiting for some sort of real recording... Geez, finally at the end. LMAO, wow, definitely reeks of Poulan. I can hear at least 3 major chord progressions that were identical to ones in our show in 2004. You've gotta be kidding me. Of course, they do sound better when a corps plays them, but still, just ridiculous. Hmm... I'm not to sure about this one. Still needs work, especially in the lead trumpets, but I'm sure they'll get that going. I do like the very beginning though, both musically and visually. We'll see I suppose. We'll see. It may turn out pretty sweet. Then again, it may not.

Amen to that. No more scat for me, thank you. Music sounds pretty impressive so far... Garden especially I would say. Although Jubilee is really cool too.

FL is a bit more technical at first than other music composition software setups. Check out this getting started guide; FL Getting Started Guide. You don't use a staff, you use the 'piano roll', which basically looks like a 10 or 11 octave piano with a grid next to it divided into 16th notes. It's really pretty self-explanatory. Anyways, check out the geting started guide and also look at the included sample projects (they're in the folder FL->data->projects->cool stuff). hgfjhsdfjf

Lol, I thought about going to TAMS, but I realized it just wasn't my 'cup of tea', so to speak. -

Haha, well perhaps then I should retort that you should listen to more heterosexual musc. The point of the song is to feature incredibly complex snare rythmic patterns as well as develop a smooth, but meanigful melody through a simple sinewave synth. The snare is an integral part of the song. Therefore, saying that it contains too much snare is like saying that the atmosphere contains too much air. I've got a Human Imprint remix of White (I think it's the same song) and it's pretty sweet. Since you know, it's D&B, and therefore it has ballz. And big, bold ones too. You know what else has balls? Progressive Metal. Check out some of the songs on this site from "Liquid Tension Experiment", a colection of four true virtuousos coming together in a blinding flare of heterophonic glory that only progessive metal and 100% pwnage can bring. Without further adue, Liquid Tension Experiment I would suggest you have a listen to Paradigm shift (and listen all the way to the end, for it is the coolest part) and Acid Rain.. oh, and Kindred Spirits. Actually they're all pretty sweet. Keep in mind they are reduced quality samples. And apparently Acid Rain is in mono.... =(. Maybe I'll post the full version later. Anyways, enjoy. -
Lmao, I have to say, I always loved liquid Motrin though. That was good stuff.

Moose: Haha, you're only saying that because you don't have as many as me. Lol, I'm just meesing with ya. Clarinot: And you're only saying that to get a hold of my money. Once again, I kid. -
They look OK, but I'm not that big on their design. Plus, they are such an indulgence in excess that really they are a crime against society. So NO!

I had to take these oral steroids one time when my allergies got really, really bad, and they were awful. They were these little white pills that were the most bitter things I have ever tasted by far. Horrible little pills...

Actually those are pretty smooth, and its actually a fairly light-hearted song. I can only imagine what you'd prefer then...
