Yeah we'll have press passes... look for people wearing those. I believe there was only one non-TxB media pass issued last year and it was for a San Antonio paper. We shouldn't be that hard to find. Last year I don't know if they had a separate press-access area, but we were on the first level, right up against the press box in the directors viewing area.

Well for one, they've had a lot of staff changes. A few years ago Mark Chambers left for the Crossmen. They've also had program designers change: Guidry and Nix are both gone now as well.

I don't use McAfee, so I'm not sure exactly why this is happening, but as the developer of the TxBLive blog, I can assure you our entire site is 100% safe and virus-free. The only thing I can think of is that it's a problem with McAfee looking at how the system works. The TxBLive page will continually update the blog and push new content to your page real time (so you don't need to refresh it for the latest content) Your antivirus might interpret this incorrectly. Beyond that, does the page work correctly for you? By the way, you don't need to refresh your blog page to see the latest posts... they will automatically update in real time (and play a "ding" sound every time a new entry appears)

Also, I'm looking at our txblive text system and there is one more change that just impacts a few users. Those of you who selected "other/prepaid" will need to unsubscribe and resubscribe with your cell phone carrier. The company that let us send out generic text messages (where we didn't know the cell carrier) has gone out of business. For those of you on AT&T, I found the problem: we were still sending our texts to the cingular network, which doesn't exist. I went in and updated all the accounts, but if you'd like, you can visit TxBLive, unsubscribe, and then resubscribe yourself to see if you get the verification message. Since I dont have ATT, I'd appreciate if someone could do this and post here to confirm if it now works. For the non-ATT users, I'm still figuring out what's going on.

It was a user affiliated with LDB who requested it to be taken down. Since posting links to other sites is not directly against our site policy, we decided to go back to the original post with the link to the youtube video. (Before we had downloaded the source from youtube and posted it in our library) To answer your question directly, no, we didn't remove it out of concern of a legal issue, but rather to respect the request of the LD Bell band program. Since our intention is to serve the entire marching band community (both the enthusiasts and the parents/students/directors) we decided going back to the youtube link would put TxBands in a more neutral position over the validity of this early-season video being posted against the wishes of the program.

After some concern about the legitimacy of the posted video, I have removed the link to the copy in our media library and reverted back to the original post, from the member who gave this to us from youtube.

Yeah whoever submitted it put "N/A" for number of placements so it just ignored all the placement spots... my apologies for not catching that. I deleted the 6 prediction lists that had been placed with the incorrect event data, so you can go ahead and repredict.
