Really surprised about Mellisa in 10th, but seeing how they did at Princeton last weekend, it just seems they are taking a little longer to get to the level of the other 5A bands unlike Argyle, who’s on a roll! PSHSMom Posted October 7, 2023 Report Share Posted October 7, 2023 Happy to see PESH make the top 5. I thought they had a chance, but I haven't seen all the bands. I wasn't sure Plano would make the finals after seeing their show last week (I've had kids at both PESH and PSHS but not any more!), happy to see they did! If were excluding 2018, they have won 3 of the 4, getting second in 2021 behind Highland Park. It's gonna be fun to watch throughout the years if someone is able to "take them off their throne" in the coming seasons, assuming they continue to come here. Argyle at 3rd is no surprise, it seems they've really stepped it up now that they are 5A, BIG congrats to Walnut Grove on 7th, really happy for them. Surprised to see Melissa at 10th a little, I'm guessing that they just are either having an off year, or they just haven't made that step up quite yet to do well against these 5A/6A schools like Argyle, but I doubt it will take them to long.
