Should be fun!  I remember doing these and I enjoyed seeing everyone in the District under the lights.  Weird thing was that even on non-UIL years, they still made us adhere to the eight minute performance rule.  In fact, they would sound a horn after eight minutes to signify that you went over time.  We did have to cancel the contest halfway through one year due to lightning.

I know this isn't really a competition, but still any thoughts? All seven neisd schools are attending and so is the head judge of BOA from what I I've heard.

it is not a competition, there is no win or lose - but each band gets some great feedback from the judges - it is intended to offer advice from top judges on what their program could do to be better.

7 years and I have never been able to attend this event due to a travel conflict with work - this year will be no different

Hope to see some videos of all of them

My thoughts:

1: CTJ

2: Reagan

3: Churchill

4: Madison

Big gap:

5: MacArthur

6: Lee

7: Roosevelt

I would agree but there are no scores - so no one knows how they did against anyone else - only the bands receive the comments on their show to get better adjust for the remainder of the season
