Xenon
What is this live webcast business? The Music For All Fan Network will be doing Live Webcasts of the following events: St. Louis, MO (Super Regional) October 16, 2009 San Antonio, TX (Super Regional) October 23, 2009 Atlanta, GA (Super Regional) October 30, 2009 Indianapolis, IN (Super Regional) November 07, 2009 Grand Nationals Prelims November 12, 2009 Grand Nationals Semifinals November 14, 2009 Grand Nationals Finals November 14, 2009
sax_man 2007
Hahahahahahahaha. Random...=P Are you talking about Bell's performance time? If so, then it's not random. Past regional championship winners, with the exception of GN, are allowed to perform in the last time slot for preliminary performance. Hence, since LD Bell won in SA 2008, then they are given the option to perform last. Some bands don't have to elect this option, just as seen in the case of Marcus performing at 2:45 rather than 4:15, since they were the previous champion at Arlington. Danpod
Danpod: since you didn't podcast it this week...thoughts for Finals? Oh, we'll hit that next week. I wanted to do a sort of recap of the early Regionals and see how they'll play a part in the bloodbath at the Alamodome in two weeks. Right now, I'm counting about 13 programs that I am sort of kind of maybe comfortable putting in Finals. In my humblest of opinions, I think it is a little too early to go slapping programs with the Finalist tag. We'll see how Arlington turns out and after some knee-jerk reaction and analysis, I'll make some anti-lock picks.

That said, good call on San Antonio picks.
rpd
Just bring the house down like the UT-Arlington band used to do. Haha, my comment was kind of a joke that a LD Bell intimidates even University bands . Were loud as crap, so we should do fine Edited October 10, 2009 by rpd
just_a_texas_girl
Do they take 5 from Friday, 5 from Saturday and then the next 4 from either day for finals?
Danpod
Do they take 5 from Friday, 5 from Saturday and then the next 4 from either day for finals? Nope. They take the top 14 to Finals, regardless of class or which day they performed.
Euph06
I know it's early but here is a preliminary look at who I think will make finals. Pretty Sure about these 10 LD Bell Marcus Stephen F Austin James Bowie Brazos Wood Richland Cedar Park Woodlands Clear Brook Hebron These Nine fighting for the last four spots Spring Langham Creek Westfield Coppell Haltom Winston Churchill Harlingen Leander Keller Just my opinion so don't get offended if I left someone off
