Oooo, S7! Sucks it’s a lot smaller (kinda) but still a solid block regardless

I’m shocked to see 7L come all the way up to DFW for this small show. This is an incredible group of 6!

It's gonna be a long drive.. Considering we went to Waco Last year and not this year its like a "replacement"

7L has decided to withdraw from this competition to due late performance time. The kid's would not be able to get home until very late into the night. The directors have decided to pull them, and also it would be the end of a grading period for them.

This contest is kinda confusing to keep track of because the name is used for 3 different events at around the same time.

I found the Class I, II, and IV event that starts at 1 o'clock on the 28th before World Class that evening: https://usbands.org/events/details.php?ID=1274

As well as the Class III and V event the next day: https://usbands.org/events/details.php?ID=1274

Richardson won this in 2023 for group V I wonder how they’ll fare against Byron Nelson who are the reigning champs of open class, since Richardson didn’t compete here last year. Martin beat Richardson by 1 point at duncanville, though from what I know Richardson seems to have more US bands oriented shows than most in the area, favoring GE and Colorguard. As for world class I obviously see flomo winning, though maybe Hebron pulls through since it’s a different scoring system than BOA. I wish 7L was coming still, I’ve heard they’ve become quite the powerhouse as of recent too.

As for the group IV day I see birdville most likely sweeping every caption, though I don’t know too much about 5A, they placed decent at duncanville as well

Don’t sleep on guyer, they’ve gotten really good these past couple years. I could definitely see them medaling.

Former head band director at L.D. Bell HS is the Associate Director at Guyer now.  This could be very accurate.

I would second this. I think Granbury will be second, and then the next few placements are kind of a toss-up
