I don’t know about you guys, but I’m getting really excited for this contest. I’ve seen most of the heavy hitters and I think it will be a great showdown!

I’m pretty excited as well! I feel like some of the bands that didn’t advance to state last year (especially the ones competed at the state level in 2023, specifically Canton, Paris, and Pine tree) weren’t really expecting the brutal competition that was coming. But now that everyone has gotten a taste of the competition from last year, I’m sure all of them are hungry for those last few spots. This year is gonna be yet again another bloodbath!

1st- Celina

2nd- Sulphur Springs

3rd- Farmersville

4th- North Lamar

5th- Lumberton

6th- Pleasant Grove

7th- Bridge City

8th- Canton (if they take 8 )

9th- Van Alstyne

You’ve got Bridge City way too low and Farmersville way too high. You could probably switch them and it be more accurate.

Has anyone seen bridge city? I finally found a lumberton video on YouTube but I cannot find a bridge city one. I don’t know exactly where to place them. I do think Farmersville could potentially place that high. They have a lot of kinks to work out first and they need to work on consistency.

I haven't seen Bridge City, so thats one reason why I have them in 7th, but after I heard that Wills Point beat Pleasant Grove in Celina twice, I don't know where to place them. They could even potentially miss state

I saw a clip of their closer online awhile back, though I cant find it anymore. It was pretty good! Not sure where to exactly place them, I can see them around the 4th - 9th range. Their show is good but I do prefer last years more.

I am curious to see how 4 turns out. KGAS still livestream? I would like to see SS/NL/PG/PT in the same setting before I start making up my mind. 
lots of people leaving out Canton. I don’t see a Wills point or VA over taking them this year. 
 

I will go out on a limb and make this prediction. Lumberton and BC will be a model of consistency and finish 4 and 5

Saw them recently and it was really good. I'm sure videos will show up this weekend after Region on Saturday.

Had to pull up page to check. After finals, BC was 3rd & Lumberton 6th. I don’t see either of those dropping lower than that. Agree that both will probably be top 5, IMO.

Wanted to throw this in here, Area C Forecast right now for Saturday October 25th is 79 with temps in the mid 50s in the evening for finals. A big difference from all the rain from last year. Things can still change though.

Darn! Missed North Lamar. Is there a way to go back to it? Saw Paris though. Audio has some issues at the top end, so was hard to judge some aspects of sound. What audio was clear sounded nice though.

No surprises there! These were all solid programs. I’m hoping we get the same news tomorrow out of region 25. I’m hoping Bonham can pull off a one because I feel certain everyone else can.
