Don't quote me on this, but I think there's a chance the props are a double meaning kinda thing? They might be eyelashes, but also kinda represent the thorns of a rose. At least, the show reveal image they posted seemed to have a rose as a visual motif as well as an eye, so I thought it could connect.

Ah, rose thorns makes a lot more sense. Makes me wonder if the colorguard are representing roses (btw their costumes are GORGEOUS).

That would totally make sense, and I don't know how I didn't put that much together (agreed on how beautiful the guard unis are though! )

This is a really solid performance from them. The volume from them is one of loudest I’ve heard so far especially that hit toward the end of the ballad. It’s definitely way better than the last couple of years for sure the drill and music. They do have some visuals to clean up but that’s expected from this early in the season. Im really curious about their props but as of right now I feel if they keep it up they could place top 6 at their area?

i go to boyd the props are supposed to be clouds that roll onto the field in part 2 and some screens that change we should be using them this Wednesday at our band night

I went to the Rouse Cedar Park game this weekend. I got to see Cedar Park but it was Rouse's homecoming and I didn't wait around for the 2nd half to see the Rouse Band. Here's CP's evolution
