Aegis Fang
2006 Phantom Regiment End o story. I think someone mentioned before that the Cavaliers show was more visual with a little music thrown in. I found Phantom's music to be thousands of times better, and the whole robot thing got repetitive throughout the show. I really wish Phantom had won this year. Mculbert07
QUOTE (whoever @ whenever) Anything said about Phantom 06 vs Phantom 89 The only reason I put 89 over 06 is the feeling I get after watching the show. After I watch 89, I'm pumped, and ready to start learning brass. (Accursed reeds and rules) After I watch 06, My jaw drops and I wonder how on earth they are able to play that well. In all aspects except for GE, 06 wins, and will get me on my feet at the end of the show, but 89 gets me on my feet in the first 2 minutes, and as soon as I sit down, I end up on my feet again. But like you've all said, it's a matter of opinion.
Skippy
I think someone mentioned before that the Cavaliers show was more visual with a little music thrown in. Not even close, they played amazingly. That ballad was beautiful, and part 2 was groovin' enough to make my head bob every time. I found Phantom's music to be thousands of times better No, it was only twice as good. the whole robot thing got repetitive throughout the show. Good, I'm glad you caught on to the show concept. Aegis Fang
I changed my mind. I'm gonna go with the "best show not to win" part and say Phantom 2003. I love that show to death, it's pretty much amazing.
Sockercon
Vanguard 98 should have won, beautifull music, hard corps brass and a winning percussion and guard was tight as well. Why they didnt win?? FTC

NSUMusician
I've got three tied (how ironic) for my "Best show to not win the gold/come in second." In no particular order: SCV 1988 PR 1989 and The Cadets 2001.
