Great run Ben10!! Brass opening was a little loser tonight but still really solid, super strong and controlled opening hit. Perc is just insane throughout, like even when the band is playing FF u hear them. Guard has some great moments as well. Visually strong, lots of great body work to add some GE, great job BC!!

God I wish I got to see Lone Star live again bc it’s once again my favorite show of the season, at least for now. I hope they break into top 5 tonight bc that was just phenomenal. No words, just perfection except like a couple minor things in high brass. Ty for that experience, I hope they continue to move up

Hearing that LS had some live mics and was sound testing in the endzone while Cen10 was performing.  Might have caused some issues with there performance or possibly penalties for LS.

Amazing job Wylie. Had a couple people come n early but they recovered so well and the rest after the big hit on. I think the biggest thing I missed in prelims is really just how much musical GE there is. They play all these different genres like they’re supposed to be play with different style, articulation, Ect.

again Sax solo in the ballad was unreal,

just so so So freaking good. And weapons line, wow, great recovery by the male performer recovering that saber. I hope they don’t get docked to much but regardless fantastic job TWB!!

Would love to watch Wakeland but I literally can't see them. Blinded by the light...

* edit to prelims post, this is my favorite Wakeland show since 2019. 
Wakeland wants 2nd, and they might have just earned it. Literally shook the stadium. Like they just year after year are at the top while also getting better. I feel like this show has some emotional meaning to them or some bc they display the fractured character so well, especially the Bugle solo, she was phenomenal. I see top 3 at state and possibly finals at San Antonio,

I think u right, LS doesn’t have a horn solo if I recall 

yeah it was them, guess it was just that loud from their warmup zone. At least it sounds like the horn soloists from the beginnign

Weird and unnecessary observation - Is it just me or has there been an unexpected amount of yellow and orange in the props today?

Anyways regardless of what happened during BCs show let just hope it all get sorted out but let’s not start a war lol 

 

Also, wow prosper!!! They do seem a little tired and some visual things that aren’t normally there by this time but musically wall of sound. Solos and duets are so mature, that percussion brought the heat and they just have such a large presence. Again visually lots of GE in the drill and they do a great job with the two sides of conflict throughout. Maybe they’re get taken off for not having the drill done at the end? Either way another year with a great shot at state, amazing job Prosper!!

I am a big fan of Wakeland drill design. And the performers perform it really well.

Going to go on record, not a fan of Prosper or Coppell. Both seem to be mostly features with interspersed band accompaniment which is mostly park and bark.

Coppell in particular is a flute concerto with minimal movement while playing. Lots of choreography.
