I disagree with you. I really like what they are doing this year. When I first saw them in person I was blown away with how they did things. Trust me it will grow on you.

It will probably grow onto me. But It is still a little too early to discredit or judge them. I am still a big fan of Cedar Park

Love this description of it. I didn’t say it grew on me over time more so I enjoyed it on first listen. Cedar Park always manages to get my attention every year.

It's going to be really tough for them... Rouse really  wants it this year and you can tell by the show they have this year....... Rouse is leaving everything on the field already......

Keller Central is not confirmed for this contest. Also very interesting having Walnut Grove 11th, I know they didn’t make it last year but it seems a little high, they could totally make finals but I’d see them as 12th or just outside of finals. Also I noticed you didn’t have Braswell, I definitely think they will be 12+ after last year. Them and Rockwall unexpectedly made finals last year and I expect them to stay there. Here’s my list:

WG as is walnut grove?? I don’t see them making finals over MN, LT or even reedy! Although they are strong, they are young and haven’t beat out the bands I listed at area before. But it’s still early season so only time can tell!

Very interesting list. I’d say put in both Rocks over McKinney North and Walnut grove. I know both bands look great, but these two bands didn’t make finals last year and might need some more time.

Just from my college experience, I feel like there was not many shows that would've had a positive GE score so it's not really easy to say. Plus, when you have music majors on 1st parts, and the just-for-fun folk just sorta chilling, balance is all over the place. Just my experience.
