Like @TrenBS said, I think the first half is pretty much locks but the second half can be anywhere because I also have absolutely 0 clue how the bottom half will look like.

Flower mound winning is 100 percent a high possibility. They’ve done it before not too long ago at this exact comp. Those past 2 years feel like something changed where they might go back to just straight up being state champs contenders. Hebron isn’t invincible. Still though Hebron will probably win.

People keep sleeping on Prosper like they didn’t make grand finals and almost state finals. Wake land also is very clean and they show up when it matters.

With the Keller’s. Timber Creek has a habit to beat Keller all season except San Antonio (happens every year it’s weird). The tradition will most likely continue. Keller is still amazing though.

I feel like Hebron probably will win here but then will fall just short to FloMo. But I haven’t seen any news on either of their shows so just a thought

Heath Nall, he sounded very promising coming from a very successful 4A school. 

West plains was his previous job.

Sachse is going to be juuuuuust fine, you guys. They won Area last season (beating Waxahachie), hung with some great names at Waco (Henny and Timber Creek), and have a new band director that catapulted a brand new 4A school to an Area Championship (their first year of existence), three State appearances and an honor band win in only three years. I would be shocked if they weren’t in finals.

I just don’t see them over Southlake, LD Bell, Aledo, Keller and Prosper for bottom half or any of the other 6

Different contest, different dynamics, but Sachse was ranked literally right next to Southlake and LD Bell at San Antonio last season. Same judging panel, too. It’s not out of the realm of possibility. I don’t necessarily see them outscoring most of those groups, particularly Prosper or Keller (Aledo is a wild card but had a GREAT 2024 season), but certainly being side-by-side with them. 
 

Also, Southlake is only doing prelims so they’re a non-factor.

They’re just a band to look out for. They will definitely clutch up and probably get to state but early season is a wild card. Also 4A is not 6A so this director (especially at this comp) will be in the ring with some really really big dogs. Of course I’m excited to see them but it’s just something to watch out for.
