Idk I think SS might win this year. Liberty Hill sorta came out of nowhere esp with it being a brand new school and program, but it was solid!

Cheering so loud for Liberty Hill! The principal over there was my band kid's principal in elementary school (he is a senior now), and Liberty Hill desperately needed another high school. It's exciting to watch another band program come up in the area. Same for Glenn, I've loved watching their program grow over the years. Moe and Gene also was a new school when my boyfriend's kid was in the guard over there. Yay band!

Also to everyone, I think Floresville is making finals tonight ! Their run was spectacular!!!! Was really moved by their music, even had a big of tears from that closer. Overall, Fantastic job Floresville!!

After their run, I think Krum has a chance at making finals! They were great! Musically, they sounded spectacular and visuals looked really good. If they don't advance, definitely first few out

Did anybody see West Plains, Randall, or Liberty? I know Canyon did pretty well but I was wondering if anyone saw them and what they thought about them.

I did get to listen to Liberty. For them being such a small group (smallest of the 4A groups), definitely sounded great! Did see some small visual stuff, and thought it was a nice touch to the theme of the show. Unsure where to place them though

I'm in another room, a couple of bands ago did I hear someone do some music from Ennio Morricone's The Mission?  And also the Doxology, I believe?  If so, who was that?  Man I really love the score from the Mission.

Man, their is going to be someone left out from finals that could have made it because wow is these last group of Bands giving amazing performance's!!! Fredericksburg doing a phenomenal job!!!

For Block 2, I missed Pecos, Davenport, China Spring, Katy Freeman, & Canyon.

 

For Block 3, West Plains, Legacy Ranch, and Springtown

I think that Area E could see a podium sweep this year! My predictions for podium:

1. Calallen

2. Davenport

3. Floresville 

Bonus: Fredericksburg for 4th

Call me crazy but I think this year we could see a huge change in results!

I saw west plains and Randall. I thought Randall performed really well and west plains wasn’t up to what I am used to seeing from them. But could be just me

Pine Tree with a great run! Man I feel bad for these Judges having to decide who moves on because WOW did the final block of bands give us AMAZING performances. No matter the results, thank you to all the bands today for these amazing performances!!!

It was a great performance! Though during the percussion feature! The wind instruments behind the props were walking around like they didn’t have a dot! I would say that can be fixed by staying in place in case the judges saw them!
